Remarks

This school has really helped me to get the best coaching I could possibly receive in Photography. Great faculty, exceptional infrastructure, friendly classmates and top-notch facilities. The experience was truly rewarding.

Course Curriculum Overview

I pursued the 11-month long advanced certificate course in Photography. This course helps you attain all the practical and theoretical knowledge necessary to be a successful photographer. Basic photography, studio photography, documentary photography, image manipulation are the 4 modules we covered during the course.

Placement Experience

The school offers many job opportunities for the students. Yash Raj Films, Prana studios are few among the top recruiters. These opportunities are really beneficial and helpful in getting to know the industry much better.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is about Rs. 2L for the entire course. Although it seems like a large amount for 11 months, it is worth it for the education quality and numerous industry exposure provided by the school. It is ranked among the top institutes in India.

Campus Life

We got to learn everything about the course we've chosen with the help of all the latest technology in the school. There is a professional-grade chroma studio and the entire campus is Apple. We have all the things required to stimulate the creative mind.

Admission

We have to apply for the course online. Students of any stream in 12th grade can apply. The main thing is your performance in 12th grade. Photography is my passion and the school has really chase my dreams.

The faculty members are really professional with hands-on experience in the industry. They train us in a way to survive in the industry. The classes were really interactive and gripping. We understand the concepts easily.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Campus arrea is good because of that is away from city or village.

Likes

Cultural fest and sport events are very nice
Practical classes are very interesting and help in visualizing human anatomy
Hostel facilities are very nice and provide good facilities

Dislikes

No mess or canteen facilities are available in college
Sport ground is not too big and has less equipments
Boys Hostel is 6-7 km away from the college

Curriculum is competency based which tries to help in overall development of student in all aspects. Every subject is given equally attention. Every department conducts seminars, different sessions in which students has to present different topics on stage which help them build confidence for speaking on stage.

i really liked that fact that the campus is very student friendly and the infrastructure is absolutely amazing
we have ai assisted learning which makes the educational experience so much better for all of us
i believe the college is a perfect fit for me as the staff is very supportive and knowledgeable

Dislikes

the weather is a huge put off for anybody who isn’t used to the mumbai weather
earlier some of the labs didn’t have air conditioning but they’ve been renovated now
the girls hostel gates shut by 9:30 and you can’t go out after that unless you video call your parents

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very very hectic and it is also one of the toughest fields to choose from, but it was always a dream to be a doctor. specially when we go to the hospital and the patients look up to us, it is the best feeling one can get. we have 4 sets of exams a year which focus on us understanding our course thoroughly, personally i wouldn't want to change the learning or the examination pattern

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.
