Remarks
The computer labs of the college are well equipped with advanced technology. The campus is WiFi enabled. The library contains all kinds of rare texts, newspapers, magazines, journals etc for the students. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors so that the presentations related to the marketing & management studies are crystal clear to the students. I would recommend this college to anyone who really want to explore more about managerial concepts and build a mark in the financial & banking industry.
Course Curriculum Overview
The duration of the course is two years which is further divided into four semesters. The MMS course aims at developing students professionals at promulgating knowledge and management skills about the big business consultancies. The syllabus is divided into the following subjects such as perspective management, HRM, financial accounting, effective/management communication, business research methods, strategic management, operations etc. We are assignments and case studies on the basis of which we are assessed.
Placement Experience
Top roles such as research manager, HR manager, Business consultant, Brand manager, marketing manger, Management consultant, Equity research analyst, Account manager etc were offered to students by the companies such as Boston consulting group, Deloitte, Merrill Lynch, TATA, McKinsey, JP Morgan and many others. The highest package offered was 18 lpa and the average was 5 lpa. Internships were offered to students in areas such as banks, operations head, industrial houses, financial companies, business groups etc. Though I don't remember the stipend that was provided.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The grand total for two years is 1.5 L. Tuition fees of 50,000 is also included in this. A one time payment of registration & security deposit also needs to be paid. The fees is quite nominal for me if I compare the fees structure offered by the other colleges.
Campus Life
The labs of the college are well maintained and equipped with latest technology. Sports tournaments with activities such as football, table tennis, basketball, badminton, volleyball, kabaddi etc are organised by the college council. Other activities include debate competitions, fashion shows, painting, pottery making, poster making competition, dancing, crafts festival, English elocution etc also happen at our college.
Admission
The candidates should hold a graduation degree with 50 % marks. 40% for the reserved category. Other than that you need to have a valid MMS-CET scorecard to seek admission in the college. A merit list will be prepared on your marks and you will be called for group discussion/interview round. Weight-age will be given to students who have work experience. If you qualify all these stages you will be granted admission in the college.
Faculty
The teachers are very knowledgeable in our department. Their main aim is to give deep insights into the business management industry and the techniques behind the marketing/financial management. Lectures on operations management, human resource management, marketing industry etc are provided to us by the guest faculty. Every doubt is answered on their part and they always provide a helping hand to students when they are in stress.
