Remarks

I had gained a lot of knowledge from my faculties and improved my skills a lot. College has a library facilities available for students. My college gives a quality education. Canteen provided us with healthy foods. Good laboratory facilities are available for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course was full time. Our course curriculum was up to date. Our department conducts many conference and seminar related to the course. Our college conducts internal and external exams. The internal exam contains assignments, seminars and other test.

Placement Experience

College provide good placements and job opportunities. Our college final year students are able to attend on and off campus placement. Hence many companies like HCL, TATA consultant, Infosys are providing job offer for students with good salary package. Our college provide internship for students to gain experience in their field.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure was feasible. Fees is affordable for every students and was quite satisfactory. The fees include tuition fees, hostel fees, exam fees and other fees. I paid fees for below 20000 for B.Ed course.

Campus Life

In our colleges lab facilities are good. Labs equipments are available. Our college has big playgrounds for sports to play for cricket, volley ball, football etc. Students are provided with NCC training.

Hostel Facilities

Our college provides good hostel accommodation for the students. College has both boys and girls hostel. Hostel facilities are good and hostel room are spacious with attached bathrooms. Good electricity and drinking water facilities are available. Mess food was good and they maintain good hygiene.

Admission

I had applied for the course through the online mode provided by the college. I had filled the application form and attached important documents requested by the college. Since I had scored good marks in my undergraduate degree from recognized university. College had my name on the merit list. And I got admitted into the college.

Faculty

Our faculty member are friendly and supportive towards the students. They have good depth in knowledge in their handling subjects. The language of interaction between faculty and students are quite good. They have years of experience in teaching.

BIT Mesra is Musical!!

Placement Experience:

Mechanical branch in terms of number of students placed is quite high but if it is about how many students get elite packages it's less. The average for our branch at our college is 8-9 lakhs but top companies which are into our core space for long are our college partners.

BIT Mesra is humongous!!

Placement Experience:

My plans after degree is to pursue masters or right away get on with my family business as we are already into trading chemicals. However, from the number of students from our stream that apply for jobs through campus, over 80% are placed from campus. Labs to industries that deals in manufacturing of chemicals and exporting the same are the ones where students of our college get the opportunity.

BIT Mesra is Magical!!

Placement Experience:

Highest package from our campus is eye catching as it's 56 lakhs and for chemical branch it was 34 lakhs. HUL, Sun Pharma, public limited labs and various R&D research centres are those that have helped us to get best available jobs in market as the competition is high but BIT Mesra has still managed to place over 80% students last year.

BITS Mesra is Magnificent!!

Placement Experience:

From second semester we are taken for an hour session for special training. It is optional till 4th semester but from 5th semester onwards, it becomes mandatory and we have no choice but to go through that hammer. Finally, from the last year's 1st semester companies starts coming and we can apply for the same and that is how placements are done here.

Read this before joining BIT Sindri.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities is decent for students. The placement of BIT sindri varies from branch to branch but the core brances like Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering has evergreen placements. Among the eligible students around 90 percent students get placed. But in branches like civil and production engineering, its not the same. They have very low placement rate around 20 to 30% of eligible students get placement. For CSE, IT & ECE the placement is highly dependent on the situation of market and it varies early. The students are eligible from 6 the semester onwards for placement . The placement drive starts from August or September and companies visit till students graduate. The top recruiters are TCS with more than 80 students from overall campus , TATA power nearly 20 , LNT, JSW , Vedanta , TATA STEEL, JSL, ADANI, ABG , Shyam steel and For it sector companies like samsung , cognisant, hitachi, TCs, Spyder visited for 2k21 batch. For the batch 2020-2024 among batch size of 710 around 620 offers were made. The highest package is given by samsung which is around 28 LPA , students of CSE, IT, ECE and Electrical are eligible. For IT sector average package is around 6 lakhs. For core sectors companies heightest package is offered by vedanta to Electrical, Mechanical, Mining which is around 14 lakhs average package is around 7 LPA.. Around 75- 80 percent students get placed during campus placement drive. The Wish to crack GATE and join PSU after my graduation.

The underrated government college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is slightly outdated due but still it isnrelevant due to research oriented branch. The areas they can improve is by adding practical subjects more than theoretical one. Exams are conducted twice every semester with easy to moderately moderate difficulty level.

A glimpse of my college life.

I preferred this college out of all the other colleges because whatever subject which I was opting for was best taught here. Not only that, all the other colleges stand no where in comparison to it. The teacher here at least come to the campus and teach something. But in other colleges, the teachers don't even come. There's only a one percent chance of the teachers to conduct classes. There is no discipline and no proper way of maintaining the facilities. Other colleges of our area only focus on organising events rather than teacher. I did not face rejection from any of the colleges which I had applied to. But, found the current one a perfect match for my requirement. At first, in order to get an admission in the university, a student has to fill in a form online at the chancellor portal. Then after a month the college issues the provincial list. After which the student has to go to the department and submit the documents along the the admission form filled online. Next the student has to self-attest all the documents and submit in the office for a stamp, again all these approved documents are to be brought to the department for another approval.
