Tilak Dhari P.G. College Jaunpur, MA, English

Reviewed on Jun 24, 2020

Course Curriculum Overview

The course mainly focuses on English language, literature, use of punctuation and correct grammar, ancient novels and classic plays, et cetera. (Visit the official site for detailed knowledge of the syllabus) I gave the exam a few years back but as far as I reckon, the exam was for 2 hours and consisted questions from Grammar, use of punctuation, correcting the tenses and everything related to the English language. There were 60 MCQ and 20 statements which were to be rephrased.

Placement Experience

The placement rate of the college is quite decent. This course opens a wide door of opportunities for you, while some of my batch-mates decided to take a job, I oped for my further studies as I wanted to get a doctorate degree. The stipend was 7 Lakh per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is very affordable. The annual fee is approximately 3500 rs and as the course is for 2 years, the total fee for M.A in English is approximately 7000 rs. The college provides a lot of study material, equipment and has a decent infrastructure in fees as low as 7000 rs.

Campus Life

The college has a lot of societies for people to feature their talents, the societies give us the break from the studies and sets a light environment for us. The anti-ragging cell is very active and pays special attention to the students who are in their freshmen.

Admission

I filled an offline application form for 100 rs. The college releases date for the exam which allows the candidates to proceed further with the admission process. After I cleared the entrance exam, I got a call from the college and was asked to visit the college along with the required documents.

Faculty

I personally find the faculty just fine. The professors are not very interactive yet they are very helpful and co-operative about most of the things we talk about. There are a lot of practical classes in the form of drama to understand the play or the novel better.

Does LL.M in integral University worthy

Likes

It is having nice infrastructure and other facilities for both the girls and boys students.
They are having girls common room in each building of the college.
The washroom facilities are very good and hygienic

Dislikes

The time tables are bit tiring and exhaustive
There are plenty of assignments and assessment test
There are many competitions held at a time so some times it becomes exhaustive

Placement Experience:

The placement facility is very good. University has it's own placement cell. Alumni and recent graduated students are eligible for the placements . As well as from second year students are eligible for the internship opportunities. Many companies come and select students from campus interview rounds. Many companies select students through online mode like Google meet. Students get regular notification mail and sms regarding job opportunities by the placement Cell as well as faculties also share job opportunities and internship opportunities in the college groups . So that students can apply who all are interested. Almost 95% students get campus placement during their last year or semester. The average package given to the student is 6-8 LPA and the highest package range about 24-25 LPA. My plans are to give competitive exams and doing PhD for further qualification.

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

My geart government college

Likes

If I talk about my college that i appreciate is the best part of environment very much good and more than best other government colleges in mzn
Our campus life is okay okay!! Cause I'm not that part of campus life. So I don't enjoy that part of my college.
I truly talking about faculty's it is genuine with us . And teaching methods is best every teachers always the right time in the classroom.

Dislikes

No more provided placements in our college cause it is a government. But always support teachers for providing for career development.
It's a properly government college. So more more facilities in our college and campus life other students who studied about coursees.
I did completed Bachelors of commerce in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ok, if I talk about my course, I have done B.Com from there and B.Com is a very good level course. It means there is a degree in it and I had to prepare for government job and from the beginning I had taken commerce in 11th class, so I found B.Com very suitable for me and as far as exams are concerned, B.Com means good study. Our college used to teach us very well, so I had also taken tuitions together, so it was quite good. My experience means it did not seem so difficult. I found it very difficult, I used to get very good exams and I cleared it very well without any back.

Best college for everyone(elegant)

The application form for admission is available in college and after filling and submission we will get admission.i didn't think that any improvement wants in the admission process. New admission had been taken on the entrance-based exam and after the result was announced, a cutoff for every category had been done, and according to the no. And cut off the students were admitted.I think this is good for every category of students. This process is beneficial for everyone....Read More
