Good facilities

I did choose the computer science and engineering course in Anna University. Per semester there was six subject each 100 marks with pass marks of 50 and lab is two or three each lab which was 100 marks all are GPA system. The course provides a quality learning environment to meet the challenges of fast growing IT world.

The placement training classes were available; it is the most amazing training class. An excellent placement programme was provided. The minimum salary was Rs. 1,00,000/annum and the maximum salary was Rs. 4,50,000/annum (off-campus). Zealous, Span Technologies, Aqua Retails, Tech Mahindra were the companies that visited.

Events were conducted from time to time for our enjoyment and to give us little relaxation from the daily hectic schedule. Many cultural festivals, many national and international competitions in various fields were conducted in our college. Apart from that we had all common events were celebrated.

The fees for this course was around Rs. 1 Lakh per annum and it was feasible for students who had opted for the course as it not only dealt with education but also provided lot of facilities which every student enjoyed such as WiFi, library etc. Cafeteria also provided good food for a lesser price. There are some other expenses which we have to pay when necessary.

Every year I supported my college in sports because they were giving the best players every year in national level. A canteen was present virtually in engineering. There were no issues in infrastructure. College provided good support to sports and we ranked 3rd at Anna University level. The college provided a good canteen where healthy and quality food at affordable prices and special north Indian food was available for north Indian students.

There were alumni network for our seniors and am happy to be a part of this network. It consists of members who occupies key positions in industry and are successful as entrepreneurs. It offered innovative approaches for teaching-learning and encourages virtual learning in order to tap the potential of its highly successful alumni spread all over the globe.

In order to get admission, one must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with English as one of the Languages and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio- Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer. Students awaiting results can also apply on provisional basis. And as I satisfied all the requirements I managed to get a seat in this college.

Faculty members in the college were good. Each and every faculty member gave their attention to every student. They cleared the doubts in class and encourage students to meet them in their cabin. , We also had PPT slide show and some seminars. The student-faculty ratio is 30:1.
