Remarks
I have absolutely lived every moment of my college life to the fullest thanks to the opportunities that NIFD provided. I learned and grew so much. I made some really great mentors in the faculty and life long friendships as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very nicely curated. We learn subjects ranging from fundamentals of interior design in first year to applications of Feng Shui and Vaastu in the 3rd year. We also do a lot of practical work in design studios.
Placement Experience
The placement is absolutely excellent in the college. We get intership opportunities in the college from a lot of different companies and firms. Companies like GODREJ, J J Vallaya, Louis Philippe etc visit our campus for recruitment.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees for the three year course is around Rs 2.4 lakhs. This is taken in 3 parts over the duration of the course. The fees was very much affordable for me and i have seen the fees go into double or triple of this amount for some other colleges.
Campus Life
The gender ratio in the college is very even. We get a lot of trainings and learnings from workshops and seminars. Studio labs are always available for us. Sports facilties are there and many cultural clubs exist in the college.
Admission
The candidates who are interested in the course can apply directly on the official website of the college. The eligibilty criteria just requires a 10+2 pass certificate in any stream from a recognised board.
Faculty
The faculty is so cooperative and helpful. They always guide us from their practical experience and knowledge. Some of then have had professional work experience as well which is really helpful for us. They have passion for the subject which shows when they teach.
