Placement Experience

4.5

Roles that were offered to my batch were food technologist, dietitian, food executive, nutritionist, research associate etc. Top companies such as Amul, Nestle, Cadbury, Haldiram etc visited our college every year. The highest package grabbed by one of my class mate was 10 lpa and the minimum that was offered was 4 lpa. Internships were also offered in food factories and dairy industries.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for one year is 37,500. The hostel and mess charges are to be paid separately. The total fees might vary after including all the fees. the fee structure is quite affordable if we see the facilities that are offered by the college council.

Campus Life

Book exhibitions are held in our college so as to instill the reading habits among the students. Inter college sports festival is also held at our college to encourage student participation. Other activities include literacy fests, dancing competition, guitar playing, singing, poster making etc. National cultural fests are also held at our college.

Admission

The students need to have 50% in class 12th with science stream. Other than that you also need to have English as a compulsory subject. Those students who do not have biology in class 12th need to complete the deficiency course in order to seek admission. Admission is done on the basis of JEE/NEET/MHT-CET or AIEEE. Merit list will be prepared on the score and rank obtained by the student and on the basis of that you will be granted admission in the college.

Faculty

4.5

The teachers are very helpful and supportive when it comes to discussing the assignments and test questions. They give us relevant knowledge in processing of food, how to maintain the food services, preservation techniques etc so that we transform the cultural and economic structure in the field of food & technology sector across the globe.

Overall college is good. I rate it average. Just one thing that faculty are very helpful but they don’t provide us any leave. Like if you’re not walk then also you’ve to attend class. You’re not allowed to go home even in Diwali. Otherwise, college is good and everything is fine here.
