Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum for ECE involves the fundamentals of engineering with a focus on electronics. The labs are also frequent to help us understand the concept better. The exams are not burdensome and focus on course knowledge entirely.

Placement Experience

4

We get many placement opportunities in our college. There is a placement cell and an Entrepreneurship Development Cell that provides funds for fresh graduates to help them with their start ups. HCL, DELL, Reliance etc are some of the companies that offer placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for the entire course is 2,10,000 rupees. It is divided into 60,000 rupees for the first year and 50,000 rupees for the rest three years. It is feasible when compared to other colleges offering the same course.

Campus Life

We have extracurricular activities apart from academics. The labs are also very good and provide extensive practical knowledge of the course. The campus environment is very peaceful and friendly with diverse student population.

Admission

The admission criteria involves TNEA entrance exam and it is mandatory to clear the entrance exam and make it through the cutoffs to get a spot in this college. After counselling and document approval I got the admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college involves lecturers who are very experienced and qualified for the jobs. They teach their subjects well and are very thorough with their concept explanation. They prepare us well.

Entrance Preview:

I finished my bachelor's in Pharmacy from Chennai and was ready to give my IIT-GATE exam in 2002 and got through a 96.34 percentile and applied to various colleges offering a master's degree in pharmacy using IIT-GATE exams. Vellore Institute of Technology was offering a stipend for a MAster of technology in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. I got through there with a stipend after an interview process with the chancellor and Controller of examinations. I opted for this particular university because it had a good environment to learn more.
