Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum program is excellent. It is strict for those who are enthusiastic about aeronautics. The course structure incorporates workshops, seminars, and industrial visits that truly help in getting prepared to take up all kinds of challenges in aviation. In the initial training of two years at the institute, there are four semesters. And exams are conducted semester wise.
Placement Experience
Nearly all our seniors were placed in reputed airlines. Huge companies like TATA, Air Asia, Indigo, etc come to our college for placement drives. We get to choose among various companies for our further training. So, students can just focus on their studies and not worry about jobs as placement is 10/10 at IAE. The highest package last year was INR 80,000/month.
College Events
Generally, we have fewer events, as IAE gives more significance to academics. But functions and celebrations like freshers, farewell, etc are conducted by every department. Small celebrations of festivities Diwali, Holi, and so on also take place among students. Along these lines, we do get to enjoy ourselves for a day or two.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If we compare IAE to other colleges, the course fee is not actually extravagant. For a fact, aviation schools are more costly. The course expense structure is INR 75,000/semester. Also, the well-performing students with 90% or above get a 10% concession on their fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
For scholarships, students can sit for Sha-Shib Group?s scholarship examination- Sha Shib Scholarship Test. And then on the basis of their rank in this examination, they get to avail concession in their college course fee or they can score 90% or above to get 10% concession on college fee.
Campus Life
The college has well-equipped laboratories and a huge library. With library facilities, students also have access to audiovisual facilities for a better and faster learning experience. We also have regular seminars and industrial visits that make acquiring knowledge easier for us.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are decent. In a single room, usually, only three people are accommodated, depending on the size of the room. Students are provided and have access to a study table, a bed, tube lights, fans, etc. Whereas, extra electrical appliances such as heaters, air conditioners, coolers, T.V., etc. are not permitted within the hostel rooms. The mess food is also nice and timely scheduled.
Alumni/Alumna
We got an opportunity to interact with the alumni of IAE during the Alumni Award Fest. It was a very enlightening experience for us. They were humble enough to give us a brief overview of the real scenario in the field. All in all, the conversations just gave us a better perspective.
Admission
All the IAE aspirants seeking admission in the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course can directly fill the form through the official college website or can contact the offline registration. You must sit for Sha-Shib Aptitude Test (SSAT) and based on the ranking in this examination, you get admitted to IAE.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are well-qualified and good at teaching effectively. The teachers provide practical training and on the ground running light aircraft. I really like their way of teaching and they are also always ready to clear our doubts.
