Review of national institute of tourism and hospitality management

college really has a good impact on every student because of its environment and the infrastructure, the facilities it provides and the field training we are exposed to. college also organizes guest lectures that are interesting and gives us extra knowledge apart from our academics.

BBA is a full time integrated 4 year course with 10 months of industrial training that gives exposure to the students and 8 semesters in total.the course is ahped in such a manner that covers not only the basic concepts of tourism and hospitality but also the new ethics of the same.

each year many different and renowned companies come to our college for hiring students with an average package of 4 lac per annum. companies like Hyatt, make my trip and taj come for the placements. our college consists of a separate placement cell with its head and students as coordinators appointed by the head.

college celebrates each and every festival very joyously and make sure that all the faculty members are part of it alongside the students. we celebrate Diwali, dusshera, pongal, onam, every cultural festival with same enthusiasm.

the fee structure includes, tuition, exam and other fees with total of 1.19 lacs for 1st year, 1.06 lacs for the 2nd year, 91000 for the next two years making the garnd total of 4.07 lacs for the 4 year course. the fees is quite expensive but deals with the professional degree course.

taking in consideration the gender ratios they hardly fluctuate but women are seen much higher in ratios then men generally. the college has the students from all most every culture and the campus witnesses diversity from every angle.

talking about hostel facilities, boys and girls space is different. each floor contains water cooler system and a huge mess to have our meals. meals can be beg or non veg depends on the preferences. apart from the stay, the campus also includes facilities of games like table tennis, volleyball, cricket ground to play anytime.

i was prepared from the very first for this course. The course asks for the written test and then the counselling process in the college itself. i got 15th rank in the written test also there is 1/3rd seats reserved for the women candidate in the college.

the faculty members are highly qualifies and experienced people n their own field and that is why teaches quite well. being cooperative with students they also understand any problems and deals with it patiently and calmly.
