It is a 3 year course divided into six papers. Home Science covers the study of measures of nutrition, health and development. It also includes the study related to environment and surroundings. It has both practical and theory classes and the marking schemes also includes the marks obtained in both the papers. Home Science is a very interesting subject to be studied.

The placement record at our college had been good. Around 80% of the students get placed every year. Many reputed companies are visiting the college and also recruiting students with a great stipend offering them internships. Many of my seniors shared their experience with us about the companies that visited and from their experience I would say the placement is quite good.

Many events are conducted every year. We have fresher? party where new comers get chance to interact with the seniors. There is no ragging; the juniors are approached in friendly manner just for fun. Teacher? day is again a very important event where teachers and students both get the opportunity to perform. It is actually one of the best events conducted by the management where teachers shoe their talents. Last year we celebrated saraswathi puja and many other festivals.

College fee structure is not at all expensive. For my course I pay a total amount of INR 8,000. It is affordable by students to bear the fee to be paid. The fee includes the admission fee and all other fees. First year I paid INR 3,000 and for the second year and third year I have to pay 2,500 each. The amount is minimal and can be paid without any loan or scholarship.

The college promotes the participation of students in various activities as part of the overall education of students. Labs and library facility is very good. The college has two libraries, one is a central library and the other one is a gifted by Maharajadiraj which is naked as Kameshwar Singh library with around 1 lakh books. Internet connection is available in the library premises.

We have separate boys and girls hostel. The hostel has all the facility for education purpose. It is much maintained with good food and accommodation. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is sufficient number of securities for the safety of the students. Every hostel has hostel wardens and students are disciplined under the rules of the warden.

Application may be submitted both offline or online. For UG courses the students who apply should have passed class 12th from a state or central board. The admission is made on the basis of the previous qualifying exam mark. The merit list is created and the seat is allotted on first come first take pattern. Counselling is conducted where students have to appear with their original documents for verification.

Faculty are very supportive and helpful in behaviour. The faculty are very good in the course they impart and their teaching style is what students need. Every single topic is explained with example which makes the course more interesting. Our teachers help in improving our knowledge by clearing all our doubts.
