Remarks

There is nothing about the college. The students must attract towards this collage as the objective of the college is to give all round formation to students including spiritual cultural social and ethical values. This college wants to maintain the balance between poor and rich people.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is structure in such a way that the student focuses on the new ways to perform good in academic. Curriculum provide the proper knowledge and emphasis on the the proper literature and the grammatical part off the course.

The placement and job opportunities in this course are not very enormous but still the college tries to to provide placements to each and every student with a good salary packages. The college regularly updates the students regarding any new job circular in the town.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees aso pocket-friendly and I must say the students from any category be it of minority section or from the majority section anybody can afford the fees very easily. The total fees for this courses INR 648 only.

Campus Life

The college conduct so many extracurricular activities for every department. From events are conducted for particular departments only but mostly the events are conducted for everybody and for every department.

Admission

The requirement for this program is that the students must have completed his aur her higher secondary board exams. The application form is available on the website of the college. The student has to apply online if you want to see the admission.

Life in HIMT

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

HIMT COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good in HIMT. I got placed in 1st year itself in MOLMI. All faculties try their best to prepare us for the placements and it shows in the placement interview also. Usually companies come for placements from 2nd year but there are some companies who want to take girl cadets 1st year itself. MOLMI, MOLTA etc came to our college for placements. After completion of the course, company will call for induction and accordingly they will call for joining the ship. For finishing the cadet ship , we have finish 12 months of sea time. After that a lot courses has to be done for appearing in 2 nd mates exam.

LIFE IN HIMT COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

I am placed in MOLMI. And sincerely thank HIMT for the placement. The other companies who Recruits cadets from HIMT are Zodiac, MOLTA, Sanmar, Genco, Ozler ONE shipping etc . HIMT have good placement records of 100%, if you have no arrears then for sure will get placed

This is the best college overall

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

I got this college through Mci. The campus was beautiful also after asking to the students over there I got to know that the whole course will be in English so no issue of language in teaching and also the teachers are friendly and supporting and there is no ragging in the campus.

About my college campus and college life.

I applied for 3 colleges . First one is University of Kerala and the other is holy cross College, Nagercoil. Next one I don't want to mention their name .I written entrance exam for university of Kerala and got rejected in there because I couldn't get enough mark to get in .
