Course Curriculum Overview

The mandate of the University is to be a centre of excellence in teaching, research and extension education in the field of horticulture and allied sectors for food and ecological security, improved livelihood opportunities and economic prosperity of farming communities.

Placement Experience

As we all know, today's need is Agriculture. Without agriculture knowledge we cant fulfill the needa of today. Govt. of India launches different scheme and project also which is opportunity for agriculture student for securing their future by gating knowledge about agriculture.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very cheal due to govt. college. Around 9000 per sem. It is cheaper than the other college. It has few donation seats thourough which students can study by paying higher amount of money. It is having a limited seats though.

Campus Life

There are many kind of activities are done in college. Such as sports viz. Cricket, footbalk, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, loan tennis, badminton, chess, etc. As well as there are more than 15 labs with a small plant for dairy operation.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facilty is very good. Separate room for every student. Rooms are good. No any disturbance is there. For study point of view separate room in necessory. No any ragging in our hostel which is good for us.

Admission

The applicants are required to have scored a minimum of 40% marks in the science stream with English as one of the subjects for UG courses. The applicants must clear the entrance exam conducted by the Government of India for UG courses.

Faculty

Mostly around 90% faculty members are doctorate And rest other are doing Phd in same college. Every processors are having deep knowledge on the particular subject. And done many research works which are published in indian and even international food journals.
