Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well structured within a of total 20 credits to finish in the 4 semesters. Depending on the merit of the case, the project may be reduced/ waved. Other than that, we have to work on projects which are research-oriented and demand current industry theories.

Placement Experience

There aren? many opportunities in the department of placement. They also don? provide any internship, if yes then the stipend won? be enough. Though if you talk with the facility members they might help provide it from somewhere else.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are quite affordable with 4 semesters. In regular category, programme, the fees are 17000 per annum including thesis submission, and for sponsored students, it is 24000 tuition fee plus 25000 for thesis submission.

Campus Life

Every few weeks the college organises workshops, seminars and monetary functions for students. Extracurricular activities make a fun learning process for us and help to reduce all the tension and stress.

Hostel Facilities

CSIR-CIMFR has two guest houses and one student hostel in Barwa Road campus and one Guest house in Digwadih campus. The hostel rates are very affordable and it also has rooms for your parents to stay when they visit you from outstation.

Admission

Those who want to pursue advanced research in areas of biology, chemical and mathematical sciences, need to have a bachelor? degree (4 years duration) or Master? degree. Once short-listed you?l be called for interview for selection at the designated centres.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

A Real Student Experience at DEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Placement Experience:

In my college the placement system is not very strong because no big companies actually visit our campus. Students become eligible from 5th semester but still there is no regular campus drive. Sometimes small local garages or workshops come but they dont offer proper package, mostly they give training type work with very low salary. So there is nothing like highest or average package in my college, and only around 5–10% students manage to get some kind of job through their own contacts or relatives. Most of the students prefer to go for B.Tech or prepare for govt exams after diploma because campus placement is almost not there. My plan after completing the course is also to study further and look for better opportunities outside, since my college does not provide strong placement support. Overall placement in my college is weak and needs lot good improvement but the vishal sir is very good to get job for for others

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
