The duration of the ph.d course was around three years. It was a very interesting course. The curriculum includes theory and practical knowledge about sugar manufacturing and its techniques and the by-products of sugarcane. The curriculum includes Thesis work, comprehensive exam, open seminars and Thesis evaluation.

The institute have a very dedicated placement cell. It is a career and job providing as many opportunities are there after the completion of the course. The placement cell strives to achieve 100 percent placement for its students.

The fees structure was little expensive. Because in every semester we have to pay around 32000 rupees which includes 30000 for per semester fees and 2000 for institutional fees. The fees was expensive as most of the students who are economically poor cannot afford to pay their fees.

Extracurricular activities provides opportunities for every students to bring out their talents. The institute organizes many extracurricular activities like indoor and outdoor activities which includes games and sports, annual function, poster competition, writing competition, quiz competition, drama and debates. It was a fun and memorable moment for all of us.

The alumni network of our institute was quite large. The alumni association conducts alumni meet every year for its past and present students. The seniors help us a lot in our studies. We interact with our seniors through various social media. Most of the seniors are very successful in their own fields.

I got admission in this institute on merit. The minimum eligibility for getting admission is that a student should qualify their post graduation with minimum 55 percent of marks from a recognised university or its equivalent. Students should have sugarcane technology as their main subjects in post graduation.

All teachers of our institute are from very good academic background. They are the most talented professors. They are very qualified and very experienced. Most of the teachers have more than 15 years of experience in their respective fields.
