Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is set by DCI. The university is affiliated with DCI.for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a four-year course followed by 1 year of the compulsory internship period, mandatory for obtaining the Degree and Registration. There are also guest lecturers once in a while.

Placement Experience

4

Doctors from hospitals and clinics visited the campus for placements. Almost 90% of the students got internships from our college. Job opportunities are very good for BDS students there is no concept of placements here but the area has a lot of dental clinics willing to hire fresh graduates who want to work and gain experience before applying for postgraduation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) the fee was little high than average but with good facilities and internships provided by them justifies it. For 4 academic years it cost me around INR 3.2 LAKHS, the hostel fee is also feasible. People from other states have also enrolled in our college.

Campus Life

A number of extracurricular activities organized by the college, events like sports, quiz competitions, conferences, and health fests are organized. Freshers' party is also conducted on the campus. Extracurricular activities apart from the studies aren't much encouraged.

Admission

Admission will be given on the basis of the NEET exam, after NEET result State Government Counseling conducted by DGME, passed 10+2 with subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized board. After selection submits all the necessary documents along with the fees.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty members are highly qualified as we are going to treat humans. All of our faculty members are postgraduates. There are different subjects that you have to study every year. Practical work is more important in dentistry, and our faculty members are good at teaching us practically.

Around 60 percent of children are placed. My plan is to do a government job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers all the modern and traditional aspects of pharmacy. But the real world application seems a bit weak. There's less time spent of product making, introduction to industries, communication skills. But they do prepare you academically for higher education and compititive exams. Teaching methods could have been better rather than just recommending books and writing notes on board. Exams are held frequently. Students have to prepare for both theory and practicals including vivas. I chose this course and college because I had to stay here with my parents and b pharm seemed like a good career option.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum here is inspired from IIT Kanpur and IIIT Hyderabad but most of the courses aree not relevant today like in today's world C language is outdated but they always teach everything in C and in ECE branch the courses are considered to be the toughest and maximize of them are not relevant today.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had given NEET in awe of getting into MBBS course but due to vast competition and less seats I could not get a seat. This option was budget friendly and also tempting. There is a lot of scope in dentistry and there is blind money without any risk of life .So yeah I like the course alot. There is scope for masters and surgery too.
