Course Curriculum Overview

The college follows the semester pattern and students are encouraged to learn the concepts and know where to implement them. The exams are conducted every six months and students must have attendance to appear for the exams.

The college has a placement cell that notifies students in case of any internship opportunities. The college also tie up with many leading law firms in the country and every year more firms are added to the list.

There are many academic and non-academic activities that take place within the college. The college football team participates in many competitions. Paper presentations, seminars and conferences are common within the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee is 38500 for first year and 30,000 for the next two years. This fee is for students who joined via the counselling process. For management quota, the fee is even more higher. The students are asked to pay per semester.

Campus Life

The college has a football team trained by a certified coach and there are many opportunities for students to play sports. The college has facility for both indoor and outdoor games. Apart from sports many cultural programs are also conducted within the college.

Admission

Kerala Law Entrance Exam is the common entrance exam for all law aspirants. After the entrance exam results are published, a merit list is rolled out. Based on the merit list and counselling process, the students are given admission in college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
