Course Curriculum Overview

My M.A. course was a two-year long course. The Important topics taught by our teachers was Fundamentals of yoga, principles of hath yoga anatomy, Patanjali yoga sutra, teaching practice, yoga therapy. Yoga is the art of healing our body and lifestyle without and side effects. A bold initiative was taken by our PM Shri Narendra Modi in UN and declaration of 21 June as International Yoga Day since 2015.

Placement Experience

Yes, there is placement in my college. The time I completed my course, I got placement from Patanjali Ayurveda in Haridwar. I was a yoga teacher for 2 years. Today, I am in Rishikesh and providing personal yoga classes to foreigners.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure of my college was very reasonable we have to pay a yearly fee at the start of the year and there is no extra fees asked by the college and Fee structure is good according to the degree and staff.

Campus Life

The college organises save trees movement. where every student is given plants for planting. Also, a cultural programme held every year, which shows the local culture of Uttarakhand and students from both Kumaon and Garhwal showcase their food, dressing and language. The campus is a ragging free and there is no politics inside the college.

Admission

The admission procedure was very simple, The candidate should have passed Graduation or equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks for open category and 50% marks for reserved category also I was a local resident of Uttarakhand so 31% seats are reserved for us and some documents like TC, Marksheet, character certificate need to verify at the time of admission.

Faculty

Faculty in my college at my time was good and qualified faculty All the lecturer and professor are highly qualified. The teachings skill is quite different and unique. They are very knowledgeable and highly qualified.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Placement Experience:

From 5 semester the students are eligible for the placements wipro infosys and many other companies frequently visit university for the recruitment of the students he average package here is 6 to 9 lpa and highest package this year was 47 lpa 10 to 25 percent of students got placement only my plan after getting degree is ongoing for masters

Placements are only given if you have relevant skills which impresses the companies companies to come here and health interviews and written exams you need to pass those and average package of a colleges 7 to 10 lakh per annum the highest package I have heard of his 20 lakhs per annum

Experience Of College Life

After my schooling, I want to prepare for NEET exam and want to take one year drop but my friend suggest me to take admission in college and complete yourgraduation in one field , so there is an option for you in future. Yaar Bada College Bada.

The previous college had a large fee structure at that time. I knew that i could afford the fee but because of covid i got failed to pay the fees in time.
