Faculties are good here

In terms of curriculum the course program is very demanding. One has to research a lot if he / she in their respective subject does not have a strong foundation. But the teachers are very supportive. The library is well stocked with thousands of books and newspapers, from different disciplines. It has played a very significant role in the College's learning-teaching process and research activity.

Our college has a placement cell which bring good reputed companies every year. My seniors had good placement with all reputed companies and good initial package. Computer science student have more opportunity for placement. Our college provides many scholarships offered by state and central government which encourages students to join our college.

The college also gives opportunity for students to relax themselves during the year by conducting many events and celebrations. We celebrate all the festivals with traditional wears and programs. It is really fun specially for hostel students celebrating festivals away from home.

Fee is not too costly compared to other colleges around. My fee is 20k per year which is not too expensive. I got into college through management quota so I have special benefits. The opportunities for a scholarship are also available in various categories. Students with a poorer financial history are given exemption from the tax.

Regular inter-college activities are conducted for skill development. Every Saturday last hour we have some events which is a relief from one whole week studies. These events also help us to develop our skills. We also have a well equipped laboratory and a huge playground.

As every college I also had ragging on the first day but our seniors are very friendly. They ragged just for making good relation with juniors. They help us out in our studies and assignments. I had many mini-projects whenever found difficulty in my coding I used get help from my seniors.

Our college welcomes candidate for applications such as B.A, B.Sc. , B.Com, M.A, and M.Sc. It also offers BCA, BBA, MBA, and MCA technical degree courses, and M.Phil. and PhD academic courses. We have only one mode of application at our college that is offline mode. The students opting for UG courses has to pass the TANCET exam with a 55% mark in 12th standard. Similarly for PG and UG admission the students have to pass the entrance conducted by the university. The admission is purely on the basis of merit list. The admission is digest and hustle free. I preferred admission here as it was near my hometown.

All members of the faculty are either qualified with PhD or NET qualified. They are very cooperative and would help us, outside the class, if we ask them anything. Overall all faculty are very helpful and friendly. Because of our staff we find the curriculum easy to be studies. I being a computer science student have more practical classes conducted which is very helpful in learning programs.
