Remarks

It's literally a very good and safe environment especially for women's. The admission process would be done on the basis of the course taken by us once the course form is filled based on our interests the admission will be done in the counter if not through college website the admission fees can be paid. My sister had been studying and gave good feedback which made me inspired to join here which provides detailed information regarding the college infrastructure, environment, faculties, students, management, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose the Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) as I'm good at accounts. Faculties are very much supportive & are really inspiring which motivates each of us to achieve something. Not only academically but also they are friendly and help us to succeed. Faculty will be an MCom, MBA, M. Phil graduates with a very good talent as they have the different teaching ideas they nourish students to build a very good career. As the revisions were conducted regularly before the exams & all-important questions will be discussed we had not found any difficulties to face the exam until the university had prepared the papers tough.

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 5th semester, the students will start getting their training for attending their interviews. Many trainers from different places come and teach the students in order to pass their interviews. The maximum number of students get placed in the campus the average package for freshers will be around 1.5L- 2.5L per annum. Top companies & MNCs mostly come for recruitment. And the students are selected based on their talent and skills possessed by them. I would prefer a job as due to COVID situations now we are unable to take up our exams yet. Hope so we will finish it soon as possible and all will be placed in companies and have a bright future.

Fees and Financial Aid

Compared to other colleges in St. Anne's the fees structure is comparatively low. When I studied it was around 35000 for a 1st year Bcom student. The same in another college will go up to 50000-60000. Here it is worth to pay the amount as the teaching is comparatively like schools. Scholarship facility is most preferably given mostly to SC & ST students while until the government announces to the general category it won't be available for us. Apart from scholarship, the students who are unable to pay fees here the college takes up initiative to pay for them and provide them a free education to certain students.

Campus Life

5

Life at the campus is actually a beautiful thing which of us miss it each day now. It wouldn't seem to be like a college as it was a place of happiness to each one of us. Many cultural day programs, college day, language day, sports day etc etc. Many events literally bring back all the hidden talents of the students which can be explored by themselves. For which there will be many rewards & awards given from the management side. It will inter & intra college fest as many students from other college come to our college and we go and take part in their college events. Literally a happy time and best moments can be captured from it.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
