Anant Gupta's Review On Vishveshwarya Group Of Institutions - [VGI], Greater Noida

I gave lots of examinations but i have selected through UPSEE as far as my score has been concerned i don't remember it,I opt this college because I heard one of my friend he was also pursuing from the same college,he said fees was less and good placements were there so you can opt it.

Course content was prepared by UPTU university but faculty was able to manage theory as well as practical labs for me I am from computer science branch so I have been studied almost everything like programming languages,OS,Data structure algorithms.

Actually for me I have never been a part of the any internship program most of the internship for Electronics,electrical and mechanical branches. Stipend I am not sure how much they got it or no.

Around 80 students from my batch are placed in TCS for 3.16 LPA and 42 in Mindtree for 3.2 LPA. This two companies were exclusively for my college and some pool campus like SOPRA and Syntel around some 5 to 10 students were selected.

GOFCA (computer science community where you'll get some coding related things or debugging,counter strike,NFS and some more brain teasers. PHOENIX Electronics community where robotics and some more workshops. SPANDAN Annual cultural and sports event,Freshers,farewell.

For my time it was around 65.5 K but now its around 1 Lac so its quite difficult now to manage for everyone earlier its feasible but now its bit expensive as I feel.

One scholarship facility was there through UP govt. Its like if the student's parents's annualy income if less than 1 Lac the whole fees should be reimbursed for loan facility they are providing only bonafide i guess.

Gender ratio was 4 woman/10 men around,labs robotics sports dance singing ramp walk and some traditional arrangements are there. Students can participate any of the activities.

Hostel accomodation was ok type there are three options available. Single sharing 42K in my timedouble sharing 38k and triple sharing 36 k for now I am not sure and mess food was not good only breakfast was good.

Alumni networking after coming back to my old director Dr. GS Sandhu he started in Delhi,NCR and in Bangalore as well. So there you can meet with your seniors juniors and batch mates to take and give help for the other companies references and same share with the college as well.

Every 15 days there is a sessional exam and before end semester there is a pre exams. Labs every week not much hectic schedule managable.

Teacher are Ph.D and some senior faculty were really good they have pretty much good knowledges are there core subjects. But there is a difficulty when any new subject has been introduced by the university but some how they are able to manage it.
