Remarks
MBA from CPIMR was a learning curve, I am proud to indulge with. Teaching is good in the college which is reflected in its student-teacher ratio. Though there's still room for improvement in the placement process. Facilities provided on campus and in the hostel are above par and make it worth your money.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was pretty thorough. We had a very good structure prescribed by GTU University. The first two semesters covered all the disciplines providing a holistic view of the company business model. Later semesters were specialization oriented. I personally picked finances since it was my specialization during graduation.
Placement Experience
There were record placements during my batch. Approx. 90% of my batchmates, including me, got placed during that year. Companies like Vodafone, JK Tyre, SBI Life, Godrej, and some others visited the college for campus placements. Average packages were also good. Our college also provides assistance for the internship process.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is pretty nominal, at around 87K lac per annum. College offers pretty good amenities apart from the good quality of teaching.
Campus Life
The entire campus has wi-fi connectivity. A lot of facilities are available on the campus as a lab, digital classrooms, medical, sports (both indoor as well as outdoor). Our college also provides digital classrooms for teaching. The food is quite good in the canteen with many varieties.
Admission
Admission is on the basis of CMAT, entrance test. Students who clear the exam are then invited for further rounds of the selection process. The college is near my hometown, that’s why I opted for college.
Faculty
The faculty are very kind and helpful to the students. They are very knowledgeable. They not only teach students from the book but also give practical examples which help the students to understand well and easily. The student-teacher ratio was around 10:1. We got pretty decent industry exposure.
