A wonderful industry experience as a student.

I was interested in Human Resources so I selected this course. Our class strength was 60:1. Many of the faculties were PhD and some were pursuing their doctoral. Their teaching methodology was both theoretical and practical and very engaging. We had one college-conducted exam and one university-organized exam per semester. It was a course of two years consisting of four semesters.

Dhruv Corporate HR Solutions Private Limited I worked as a Trainee. I executed the project 'Report on Perception of HR towards Assessment Tools and Outsourcing HR Activities. My work involved preparing a questionnaire and taking feedback from HR representatives on the various HR practices prevalent in their industry.

The fees were uniform throughout my two-year tenure. Each year the fee was INR 37,500. No there was no scholarship or financial assistance offered. The institute assisted in securing a summer internship and also provided the options for campus placement but the placement results didn't bore fruit for me.

The campus was vibrant with full of academically bright and non-academically talented students. We had our yearly annual fest Crest which was conducted in February every year. Ours was a well-stocked spacious two-storeyed library. All the classrooms had projectors and teaching was through transparent sheets and PowerPoint presentations. The institute organizes sports day around February or March every year. Besides, there were clubs comprising group of 30 students each that held talks and initiatives on education and environment-friendly activities.

I appeared for the GCET- Gujarat Common Admission Test- state-level MBA entrance and basis of my rank of 405 and interest in Human Resources I selected Chimanbhai Patel Institute of Management and Research for my graduation.

Yes, I appeared for a multiple-choice question entrance test which was followed by a group discussion. Subsequent to clearing entrance and GD I was selected for an interview which also I cleared with good performance.
