Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My course included core subjects of commerce like Business Economics, Business Statistics, Operations Research and Income Tax Law. These are taught in great detail to impart knowledge relating to Business and Accounting.

Placement Experience

4.5

Every year more than 30% students get placements and even between semesters, we get internship opportunities. There is a career guidance and placement cell that conducts orientation seminars, training programmes etc.

College Events

4.5

Many events such as seminars, national conference, workshops and activities like business quiz, poster presentation, skit, product launch etc are conducted by the commerce department. But many other events are also conducted by other departments and also celebration of every festival takes place. There is also an NCC club making us flourish in sports too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of the college is really feasible and low. For my course that is B.com , the fee is ?795 per year which makes the total fee for 3 years ?2,385. It is totally affordable by every household.

Campus Life

4

In this all girls college, NCC plays a major part in our development. A training camp was organised by girls in which 65 cadets from the college took part. All these camps and seminars are conducted for us by the NCC.

Admission

Admission in the college for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses is merit based. You just have to fill the application form and must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with a valid score and with relevant subjects.

Faculty

4

There are 15 members in the faculty of Commerce Department including the staff. All of these professors are highly qualified and experienced in their field. Teachers conduct smart class, role playing etc for better learning.

In my college, on campus placement opportunitiesd for core biotechnology and life science fields were quite limited, While there were placement drives conducted during the final year, the majority of companies that visited were from IT, customer support, and non-core sectors, which weren't directly relevant to the field of biotechnology.
