Entrance Preview

I wrote MBA test and got 1213 rank state wise (old Andhra Pradesh) and opted this college since it was famous and near to my native.

Course Curriculum Overview

The first year curriculum consisted of marketing management and all different managements and second year I took finance specialization so related subjects were taught.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't get any internship that time, some companies like HDFC came for campus selections but I moved to Hyderabad by that time so cudn't attend the interviews on time. My friend in the same year got selected in HDFC that time.

Placement Experience

The placements were good. HDFC was one of the big banks that time, they took her for around 9000 initially that time I think as a trainee.

College Events

We used to have management meets where our batch used to go and attend other college meets also to participate in GDs and all and many cultural activities in our college like Anniversary, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was feasible, it was Rs. 15,000 /- per year that time, total 30,000 for 2 years. Other than that, we had industrial tour and all in second year, which costed around 10,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was educational loan eligibility to our college, some of the students took educational loan from banks.

Campus Life

Our library was really good, could get all kinds of books related to our subjects. I didn't even need to buy text books. Gender ratio was 21 boys and 9 girls of total 30 batch. There used to be healthy competition between us to achieve good marks. They used to conduct cultural activities, blood donation camps, sports days, which all used to be fun as well as useful.

Hostel Facilities

There were no hostels attached, so no experience in that. Canteen food was good and affordable for small parties.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors were very much interactive and supportive. Initial days they used to give us small works to search books in library and games to increase rapport with them and to get knowledge of library also. They got good placements.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was cool and easy, I think once in 3 months, nothing to trouble the students and we were well prepared by the lecturers.

Faculty

Dr. C. Anil Kumar was our HOD, and because of his teaching only I opted for Finance. He was one of the best lecturers, and I had been lucky to be taught by him. Other lecturers were also good.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are very good . Some students get placements in college drive while others are searching on their own. College bring high standard companies And recently two students are selected for 21lakhs package in Germany. And also provide trainings for better improvement for students.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible to attend placements. Highest package is 9lpa and average package is 4lpa in all majors. 98% students will be placed. There will be no fault from the placement cell The will bring 100s of companies to the college It totally depends on students capability. In prder to it placement cell take care of communication and aptitude classes provided to the students

The placement data of IIM Visakhapatnam for the year 2022-23, gives us a glimpse of how nicely this college is trying to provide one of the best placements among the top tier 3, MBA colleges in India. There's no entrance exam, they take you on basis of 10th and 12th. There's no difficulty, they'll provide opportunities for the students with minimal percentages too for them to try and score big in degree. So it's fine and balanced...Read More
