My Experience in college

I took MCA entrance test and also my undergraduate percentage was above 75% so i have got the seat in merit.

The course curriculum was excellent though it is affiliated to Anna University. There is no such a big difference between MCA and BE(Computer Science and Engg) all the syllabus almost 95% are same.

The various companies offered for internship such as Alcatel-Lucent India Limited,MindTree,Wipro,infosys. Every company offers minimum sum of rupees 10,000 per month during intership. Based on the quality and performance they will take it up further for the permanent positions.

The various companies came for the placements such as Alcatel-Lucent India Limited, MindTree,Wipro,Infosys,Virtusa,TCS,Accenture. Alcatel-Lucent India Limited offering 5.5 Lakhs Per Annum and each company will have they own limitation and budget such as starting package is from 3.5 Lakhs till 6 Lakhs Per Annum.

Every year MCA/BE(CSE) conducted National Level Symposium which will have different programmes such as Coding Test,AdZap,GK Test. Winners will get cash prizes and certificates.

The fee structure is feasible. I was paying 25000 per semester for the complete MCA course it was 1,50,000 Only Panimlar Engineering College was offering this much less cost when compared to other engineering colleges during the period 2002-2005. Though it was a sister concern of Sathyabama Engineering College group.

No I did not got any scholarship or loan from the different for the study. But i know some of my friends have opted for loan facility they have got it during their study time.

Everything is amazing,Hostel Parties,workshops,cultural societies and no gender discrimination,ethnicity,race,religion,sexual orientation,politics and economic status, discipline. I can give 100% rating for all this. This is one of the best college in Chennai.

Both Boys and Girls has a separate hostel facility. The hostel rooms are excellent with three persons can share a big rooms with separate toilet and bathroom and a wash basin. Each person will have a separate bed and wardrobe. Mess food is the best food that i have ever had in my life though being sathyabama group every one likes the mess food.

I feel alumni network and senior students this point is not up to the mark as i feel they have to focus more on this. The college should take part and arranging,seeking help or any kind of web portal so that everyone can communicates each other.

The Exam structure are on semester basis anna University (Guindy) pattern. The courses are pretty hectic but it has value for the money and outside people respect very much for Anna University it has its own Value. I am very happy to be a part of Anna University.

The faculties are very supportive and strong in technical knowledge. They help and facilitate the students in a very friendly manner. Even they encourage you to participate for different colleges seminars,symposium,national level technological functions.
