Course Curriculum Overview
The program is designed in such a manner to guide the students by competent accounting and groom them in such a manner that they fulfill the demand & market conditions in the field of accounting & commerce.The core subjects that we are taught about in these three years relate to Business consultancies , Indirect taxes , Banking&Regulations,Public accounting firms,Industrial houses etc .This will provide us a broad scope of employment options in many of the big financial constitutes of the country .The duration of the course is three years which is divided into six semesters.
Placement Experience
The placements of this college is really very good . The highest package allotted to one of my senior was 12 lpa from Barclays . However the average package given is around 5 lpa. Summer internships are also offered by the college for those students who really have a burning desire to earn and have a work experience. The stipend for the same ranges from 8000 to 10000 per month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is quite feasible . We need to deposit a one limit registration fees at the start of the college . There is also a security deposit to be paid . The college keeps in mind all the students while deciding the fees structure which I consider is really commendable.
Campus Life
We have a Women Empowerment cell in our college which make available social activist to connect with the students with their physiological issues.Two independent NSS units are also assigned to boys and girls to work efficiently. Our student council also organize fest and fete to encourage the participation of students in extracurricular activities.Sports activities like football , volleyball , basketball , table tennis are also organised by our college student council to boost the moral of students other than the theoretical subjects.
Hostel Facilities
Our college library is divided into a number of sections which provides the students a healthy environment to learn.On the reading table of the library the students are provided with weekly magazines , journals , newspapers etc.The hostel rooms are also quite big . There are separate hostels provided to girls and boys. The canteen & mess food is also very good . Classrooms are really very clean , we also have an auditorium which can fill almost 150 students at one go during any kind of cultural activity or seminar in our college.
Admission
The admission criteria in this college is very simple . You can apply online and fill in the course you desire to take admission in . You need to have secured at least 50% in class 12th from a recognized institution.After that a merit list will be prepared on the basis of your marks . The SC/ST candidate were given a relaxation of 5%.l was lucky enough that my name was in the first merit list . I was called for the documentation process and thus granted admission in the college.
Faculty
The teaching methods of every teachers is different . They acknowledge all the students on their basis of understanding the subject . Our doubts are duly resolved by the teachers. They lay emphasis on practical examples rather than just learning the bookish language.Overall all my faculty members of the management department are really very supportive.
