Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was very thoroughly planned and provided for both the practicality as well as the thesis of the degree giving an overall view of how the corporate sector functions. The 2 year programme was further divided into 2 semesters where students had to take up exams, do research, intern at a good firm, etc which turned out to be very helpful for us in the future.

Placement Experience

3

The placement and internship opportunities at our college were slackened as it was established only in 2011 and the college had been constantly working towards improving it to get the college at par with any other renowned B-school. However, the college name was of great help for getting into companies off campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was made extremely feasible and comfortable for each and every student. The students were given ample of time even if they weren?t able to deposit fees on time and some relaxations were given to students with socially backward background.

Campus Life

3

Our college used to conduct a lot of seminars and workshops on various topics which were very helpful for the students. The environment at our college was also very pleasant and supportive which made the outstation students feel included and a part of the university. Almost all the students were involved in sports, debating, music, dancing, etc which helped them groom their overall personality.

Admission

Getting admission into Gondwana University for Masters of Business Administration was not a piece of cake. I had to take MBA MAH-CET 2017 and on the basis of that score plus the marks in my undergrad degree got me here to this college. I took part in the admission and seat allotment process and In the 3rd round, I was finally able to get in. The syllabus for MAH-CET was pretty similar to that of CAT but since I wanted to study in a college in Maharashtra I gave MAH-CET 2017. The admission process was also very smooth and I had to just show my 10+2 marks and Undergrad degree.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college was extremely supportive and knowledgeable. The professors used to take up knowledge sessions and involve us in case study solving sessions which were very thought provoking and came in handy in job interviews and when you will actually be struck in real life business situations.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals
