A Review of my Journey

The college has outstanding performance in all aspects of engineering course and various co-curricular activities. I chose this college because: 1. Primarily, the college is an ISO 9001-2015 certified, NBA accredited and AICTE approved. The college has very good infrastructure, which includes, classrooms with sufficient capacity, few smart class rooms, in-house workshop facility, outdoor and indoor sports facilities, technical laboratories, in-campus hostel and mess facility, canteen and recreational facility. The college has various achievements in field of sports, technical events and academics. The teaching staff of all department are equipped with ideas and experience. 2. Specifically, I am a civil engineering student of 2016 batch. I had a great experience with the civil engineering department. All the faculties are well experienced on and off the field and supportive. They provide practical exposure for a particular subject domain in every term. They believed in self growth.

The course curriculum provided throughout the degree period is in depth. The curriculum covers each and every elements of civil engineering ranging from a foundational subjects to a high priority domains. The teaching faculties has on and off field expertise in a particular subject such as surveying, structural design, construction management, concrete technology, hydraulic structure design, etc. The faculty-student relationship is healthy. The faculties anticipates that a student should have balance of in-class and field knowledge. All the faculties are very active and motivate students to participate in technical events such as Hackathon, SSIP (Student Startup Innovation Policy), etc. Mostly, all the faculties have pursued masters in their respective field and relevant experience. The exams conducted during the mid-terms were assessed timely and the question quality was moderate.

Campus Placements are very good for some fields like IT, CE, EC, EE and FPT. While for ME, Civil, Automobile, few companies offers the placement. The students are eligible for campus placement from 4th year of their degree program. Basically, IT, CS, EC students have more chances to get placed as per the company requirement. The highest package of 8 lakhs per annum is provided to one of our IT student by TCS and average package of 3-3.5 lakh per annum is provided by most of the companies. I am a civil engineering student. So, after my degree, I have started my practice at one of the local reputed firm for a year and then I will pursue my masters.

Fees structure gets hiked every year. The cost of study depends on a particular's financial condition. There are various scholarships like MYSY, CVM scholarships, etc. The information about scholarship can be attained from the academic section of college. Unfortunately, I have not achieved any scholarships during my degree.

The life at ADIT is worth-experiencing. The college organize annual technical fest named, SPECTRUM in month of February or March, as per the convenience. Along with technical fest, various cultural events like singing, dancing, mime, skit, gujarati garba competitions and many more. They also participate in youth festival and a local event ,named, VOLCANO. The library is loaded with various engineering reference books, competitive exam books, various reputed journals of all the sectors, everyday newspaper facility which includes Gujarat Samachar, Hindustan Times, Times of India, etc. The classrooms have every basic amenity like blackboard, bench, electric fan, lights. Some classrooms are smart classes with projector, writing boards, air conditioned but limited capacity. In terms of sports and extra curricular activities, the institute provides best facilities for sports like Cricket, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Football, Judo, Boxing,etc.
