Remarks

The college rules are flexible and the subject syllabus is adequate, most facilities are cooperative yet the academic activities and learnings minimum and avarage. The admission was a smooth process the university staff was friendly to an extent. I preferred this college for non-specific reasons but one of it was I was too late for admission at any other university because of personal issues. I found this college merely be searching for private colleges in the city open for admission on the Google search engine.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

Literature is my passion and I give my best in acquiring the most knowledge I can in the field. I am a vicious reader and a preacher of self-acquired philosophical ideas. But since the time I enrolled my expectations were shattered from the level of learning in the said course. Teaching methods are manageable but unprofessional and only occasionally useful. I'm unaware of the teacher's qualifications but am sure most of them have an acceptable degree. The term exams were always conducted on schedule.

Internships Opportunities

2

There were some internship opportunities during I was on campus. I indulged in one or two. One on a literary festival. It was a good learning experience and PR benifits.

Placement Experience

0.5

The placements are offered but are not up to the expectations of a student just graduating in whatsoever course opted for. The employability is fearfully low unless the said student has their own family business or jobs secured based on their personal merits. I plan to secure employment that may provide me some experience in the field of literature or language.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are reasonable and financially manageable hence were paid by my parents alone. We had one internship as referred by the University. I applied for no jobs or internships on campus. Had few personal contacts with whom I did some research work and event management along with other useful and practical learning opportunities.

Campus Life

3

MATS Utsav is conducted annually, so are the annual sports somewhere in the months of January/February. Seminars are held occasionally on subjects that could be useful in the future. Guest lectures for each department. The library is moderately stacked with the books and journals that are pertinent to the subjects and syllabus but still could use some variations. Classrooms are comfortable and fitted with AC vents whiteboards and spacious enough to hold around 30 students at a time. There are a number of extracurricular activities on campus and are amusing with good entertainment value. I am unaware of any group's clubs or websites run by students for students on campus.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The rooms were furnished with a bed, a table, a chair, and a Almira cabinet for safekeeping personal items. Rooms were cleaned by University provided maids. But there were some unreasonable rules that were harshly implemented. The meal was barely edible the menus were constantly changing and so did the cooks. Lack of hygiene and cleanliness. Registration was easy but I personally thought it to be a bit expensive compared to the facilities and treatment of students. The location of the hostel is in the middle of a bus stand which seemed highly unsafe for female students. Constant cases of violence in the area, inappropriate University politics.

Placement Experience:

To be honest placement scenario is not really good. One becomes eligible for placement in the final year. Companies like cognizant used to visit the college for mass recruitment but after covid even they are not visiting. But few startups visit every year. The highest package this year was 12 lpa ctc. And avg 6 lpa. Only 30 percent get placement. My plan is to do M TECH.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course as this is an honors degree also I am from a commerce background. And I want to know about all the concepts of commerce and the economy. There is a Concise curriculum for this course. Faculty to the student is quite less as it is a private university Faculties are changed regularly. And. In their place, a visiting faculty pursuing a master's or Ph.D. is engaged to cover up the syllabus until and unless any assistant professor joins the university. So that was the lack that was where we were lacking in the 5th semester.
