Intern Opportunities

I searched through many colleges in and around Coimbatore and according to my cut off I chose SRIT through Anna University Counseling process. And I personally went through the college after choosing, and the first impression about the college was the best.

Among all, I chose the Department of EEE and it did not disappoint me for choosing such a course. The course curriculum includes both theoretical and practical knowledge where we can excel in academics. Added to that we will get more industrial knowledge by visiting through industries relevant to the stream. The faculty members were very supportive and helpful in both academics as well as socially friendly. They will always train you beyond boundaries.

The college will offer internship opportunities during your Vacation time to use your leisure time in a productive manner. I was offered an internship at Signals and Telecommunications workshop, Southern Railways, podanur, Coimbatore.

The placement activities in SRIT was good. I was exposed to numerous companies during my placements. And as I trained at the end of the 6th semester itself. The faculty members will also be helpful in getting us placed in good firms of our interest.

The Overall fee structure will be around 1lakh if you are not a first graduate with a general quota which includes both college and hostel fees. You will also get a government scholarship based on your category with a minimum of at least 7k-10k per year.

Life at SRIT is the best life I've ever had. The friendly environment I had at SRIT made me what I'm today. The infrastructure is good. And in addition to that, one will be exposed to many social and club activities like NSS and GCC where u can excel yourself in managerial skills and socially responsible individual.

The hostel facilities were good and you will enjoy your whole hostel life and it was simply awesome. One will not hate hostel life once they entered SRIT hostel life.
