Remarks

Life at Cresta is peaceful. The ambiance, the positivity is on the next level. Cresta provides a lot of certification courses for students which helps them by enhancing and upgrading their skills and knowledge. As I was in the second batch of my college, admission was not challenging. Also, we had to complete a task until college started, the task was to read a book named "One-minute manager". Cresta provides certificate courses, good sports facilities both indoor and outdoor, cultural opportunities, good placements, internships, events and whatnot. So it was obvious to choose Cresta.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose B. COM because my interests lied in accounting and I am good at numbers. Faculties at Cresta are highly qualified and have versatile teaching methods, most importantly, faculties at Cresta are student-friendly and support students in whatever manner they can. We also have an in house counselor who counsels students, faculties, and staff. Term exams have been regular and have been not challenging as we have revision classes too before any examinations.

Internships Opportunities

5

Mysore literature Club - We organized an event about literature having many well-known writers and authors like Devdutt Patnaik invited. Internship at Cresta- We did social media marketing for Cresta.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are provided for only the final year students. My plan after getting a degree is to opt for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Cresta provides all facilities in order to apply for a scholarship, also helps in any manner. A group of students, which included me, we're selected for social media marketing of our college and we were paid 1000 rupees each which was very encouraging.

Open mic night - Conducted in the month of June is a joyful evening with lots of music and dance. The library at Cresta is full-fledged with books by well-known authors, and students can make use of them anytime. Classrooms at Cresta are well furnished, with whiteboard and projector. Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
