The college is good with a rich and diverse heritage the infrastructure is good the placement is decent. The education is good. The major advantage to choosing IMDR is the ROI at its best in Pune.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is of 2 year divided into four semesters. The exam is conducted at the end of every semester the written exam is 60 marks and the internal 40 marks. The exam structure and curriculum are intelligently designed and it's fair it helps you to become great managers. The curriculum helps you to develop all around for the future.
Placement Experience
The placement is decent the college is more education Oriented the average placement are 90% this year. All types of companies visit the college but the majority are marketing and sales companies the finance placement are not good. The recruitment process of both placement and internship depends on industry to industry the normal process is interview screening. the college prepare students for their placement they provide English language training, interview tips are also taught.
College Events
Kshitij cultural event is conducted every year, other events are Ganpati festival,Durga pooja the events are big and many students from different institutions participate in the Kshitij event and win exciting prizes the kshijit event has many activities like dance, fashion show etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee of the college is 2lakh per year that is 4lakh for two year. The mode of payment is online as well as offline through NEFT. The college provides total transparency in fee- breakdown. No, the college doesn't charge additional fees apart from the fees of the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not opt for any loan. The College doesn't provide scholarships for the students. students can go for Loan.
Campus Life
The campus life is good and the gender ratio is decent but the gender is dominated by men for the females. The students are from all over India but the maximum students are from Maharashtra. The economic status of the students is of average families. There are different inter-college sports events that are conducted every year. There is an IBM lab on the campus that is used to teach SAP and excel
Hostel Facilities
I have opted for hostel there are two hostels provided by the college one is the Ferguson college hostel with annual fees of 36000 rupees. The rooms are on sharing basis with two beds the seats are few and on first come first serve basis. The maintenance of Ferguson hostel is horrible. The other hostel is the BMCC hostel with two options for double sharing the fees is 80000 and for triple sharing the fees is 60000. The facilities and the rooms are spacious and clean.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is huge but the alumni engagement in the college is not good. the seniors in the college are very helpful and help you. There is no such thing as ragging, everyone lives in peace and harmony.
Admission
I got admission in imdr through MBA-CET examination. I opted for the course because I want to become an Hr Manager. I chose this college because the return on investment i.e ROI is the best in Pune you are getting PGDM in 4lac only which is remarkable. Secondly, the rich and old heritage of DES society dates back to 1880, and IMDR itself is the oldest b school in Pune established in 1974. The admission process is very simple you have appeared for any of the Mba entrance examinations. IMDR accepts CAT,ATMA,MBA CET,MAT. You must appaer for any of the above entrance examination. Apart from this IMDR conducts personal interview and group activity once you clear it you are selected for the course.
Faculty
The full-time facility consists of eleven teachers and a director majority of them are Ph.D. holders and have done their MBA with good industry experience with an excellent network in the good industry the average age of the faculty is at least 40 years according to me. The facilities are good and have great knowledge and experience.
