The best Christian missionary dental college in Andhra

The college manegement is strict regarding discipline and goes to any level to ensure safety of the students and welll being but can be harsh when it comes to the matters of financials.

The course is of 5 years, 4 years of study and one year of internship. It concentrates on both theoretical and practical knowledge, which are both equally important in dentistry. The exam structure consists of 3 internals and one final exam every year for the first 4 years, with both theory and practical exams of each 100 marks.

There won't be any placement process in dental colleges as it's a service driven course. but all the students after passing out can practise dentistry right away. There's on year of compulsory internship in various branches of dentistry which allows the student to get better in practical knowledge and treating the patients.

There are a lot of sporting events, fests, programs and events in the college. Some of them are the college days, convocations, freshers, stalls and they are all quite big in which the whole college participates and that includes staff. The best performing batch even gets an overall championship.

The fee structure depends on the category of admission. For merit students the fee is nominal but for students who join under management quota it's expensive. The fee is broken down into years. There are various additional fees included like hostel, miscellaneous, alumni etc. There's a certain level of transparency in the fee breakdown but not completely.

I haven't availed any scholarship or educational loan. My father supported my education. The college doesnt provide any assistance with the loans.

The campus life is good, disciplined, peaceful. There's a religious atmosphere. There are a wide range of extra curricular, sports activities and competitions. They are very good in deed with a good number of participants. The gender ratio is 1:4 here with 4 females per 1 male. There are no student or dorm parties allowed in hostel. Theres little favoritism to certain religion and caste.

Yes, the hostels in this college are pretty old and not with many facilities. The hostel mess is okay. There are sharing rooms. And the fee is around 70000 per annum including food. There are not many pgs and the average rental is around 60000 per annum.

The alumni network associates with the college on numerous charity works and programs. Also aids in getting employment for the students. The Executive members are elected biannually.

I have opted this course just like how most Indians do it, fail to get into MBBS, so get into BDS. I got the admission in management quota, C cat after writing NEET. I went to the college with necessary documents and filled the application and got admission after a short interview.

There are well qualified staff in the college with various degrees of experience and expertise and the average age would be 40 with the qualification of masters in dental surgery. All the lectures were postgraduates with numerous research papers and publications.
