Good college

I cant think about any except the monkeys there, the parent harmful perse but they can be quite annoying

It quite good. Some would say excellent. The theory classes are done properly and the practicals are even more fun if you are doing it with interest. Almost all the teachers and professors are friendly and possessed their own good qualities. Furthermore the location is also quite nice with the college surrounded by trees.

Our college is located on the outskirt of dehradun but the location is quite nice. It is surrounded by trees with proper sports fields and court (outdoors).

Annual function, sports and other functions celebrated in india. Holi, Diwali, shivaratri, rathjatra, dushera, college freshers meet and other state students freshers meet, Christmas being the main festivals among other small festivals. At the moment I cant think of any other festivals.

Fees are quite affordable but you have to pay late fine if you dont pay on time. And you have to clear your fees before your semester exams or they wouldnt let you take your exams. And also the late fine is quite large. So dont be late is summation fees and we also cannot pay fees in the college with cash (you'll have to go to the bank) if you want to pay your fees in college then you'll have to swipe card and they charge around 50 for 1000.

I dont apply for loans or scholarship (because general quota is nonexistant). I havent applied for a y loans or scholarships. But my friends have applied for scholarships. They require some documents and you cannot have back papers

Gender ration is around 3:2 (3 being the boys ). Almost all the student are from other states. Most student being from the NE india. And the locals are also very friendly. All the religions are mixed (hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Christian). TBH I dont know anything about political and economic status

The boys hostels are not that good. And the room is quite small for 3 people. A bathroom is attached for every room to be shared by 3 people. And the food is also not good. I dont know if the girls hostel is better but the foods are the same

All seniors are helpful in their own way. Some taught us about studies, some taught us about girls, managing money, living in rents, cooking etc

I sent in my application online and summit my certificates in person after I've reached the college. I guess I got accepted before I went there. The knew a out the college from the promotion guys in our city and they pretty much took care of my admissions. I just went to dehradun when I've collected all my certificates.

My course has around 20 lecturers (not sure, since they are still recruiting more able teachers), average age must be around 30-50 d some are more older I think, all the teachers have different methods of teaching but anyone can understand their teaching style. I guess they have their own qualifications, I didnt bother to ask them about qualifications since I trust the college decision in recruiting them. There is no nepotism in our college
