The management has other colleges as well in their group of institutions, this is just one among the many, their focus is all over the place

4 years - 8 semesters, the last two semesters are for projects. 1 sem - common subjects for all 2 sem - foray into the mechanical world 3,4,5,7 - same as above 6 - same as above plus a mini project or an internship 8 - mega project plus a three month internship

TATA/Infosys have all visited also many mechanical industries like l&T were present during the placement

Symposium - where other colleges are invited to participate in a technical event and a prize is won at the end of the day. This is held for all departments in a particular month of the year, all students are allowed to participate in this event. Culturals - a day filled with music,fun and non stop entertaintment for all students, a sports day just like in your school across all sports and inter colleges.

35000 seemed nominal at that point in time, not very sure about the fee structure presently. If you reside in the hostel, there are additional charges. If you reside far from the college, transportation services are available for pick up and drop which will incur additional charges

NO, i did not qualify for a scholarship, i am totally unsure of the eligibility criteria though i would think above 95%

robotics is a new field in this college, they have all the lab facilities, debates i have rarely heard of. They have also introduced a new aeronautical department which is quite recent. Since i was in the mechanical department, the fairer gender rarely chose this field, there for in my department, there 119 guys to 1 woman.

NO, but i have been to the hostels and it is not very neat. But you know how male students are, perhaps female hostels are cleaner but i have never visited. The food is also mediocre, i do not recommend the hostel acomodation

There is a facebook group of this college where a bunch of people interact but i rarely think it goes anything more than that.

It was under Anna University which is the foremost college in the state. Back then, we had twelfth exam results as well as an entrance exam for getting into a college. Now we do not know if thats the case, you might want to check it out, based on entrance and twelth marks, its fairly easy to get admission

Let's say this was at least 15 years back now, the first semester was chaotic - the teachers are friendly and mean to teach well, the course is such that it all you read is in the book and all you write has to be from the book, the mechanical department was fairly decent of the lot.
