My Graduation

No value to students and their ideas. Any ideas given regarding academics will be disregarded

There are 8 semesters in the course. As it is a government college, there are no reasearch driven activities nor there is an encouragement for emerging ideas. There is no practical knowledge given. There are no proper resources either. The teachers would just read out the text books and leave.

There's only one training and placement officer for the entire college. The placements are very poor and it's very hard for the students to get permission even to go to internships. No one would blame anyone even there are less placements because they are least bothered about students career and future.

There are 7 branches in our college and each branch conducts an individual fest every year which includes technical and non-technical workshops, events, paper presentations and cultural events to the night Exciting events like treasure hunt. Students across the state are invited.

Since it is a government college the fee is very low such that an average middle class parent can afford it The fee is just 10000 per an academic year. The hostel fee is also very low compared to other private institutions. It would sum upto 25000 per year.

We can avail fee reimbursement provided by the government of Andhra Pradesh which gives upto 35,000 an year. We should be in other backward castes or economically weak to apply for the scholarship.

Gender ratio is equal and all the sports and extra circular activities are entertained. There's an auditorium and a music club. Cultural fests and technical fests are organised every year and students across the state are invited. Many technical and non-technical events are conducted.

Alumnis are conducted very rarely. Even they are conducted, seniors are allowed to speak only positives of college.

JNTU is a government college. so chose it. Got entrance through EAMCET. for my rank I can get Information technology or metallurgical engineering and material science branches. I thought I could choose Information technology so I can get into a job quickly after my graduation.

There are two types of faculty in our college. One is of permanant type who make an entry through UGCNET and others are of contract based. The contract based faculty are not very knowledgeable but would try their maximum to teach students. while the permanant faculty just show students the hell.
