Remarks

I don't have any remarks.I'm glad I could finish soon and get out from there

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course curriculum is good but still needs a lot of content. curriculum is for academic purpose.but visits were only through internship.there are no campus placements for our course psychology.through this curriculum students actually learn less than other private colleges. because ours is government institution and not much importance is given to such students as per career wise

Placement Experience

0.5

Well for our course no placements. internships we had go in search of.which is not intimidated earlier. everything happens last minute.nope no special steps to prepare students. students have to struggle for themselves.

College Events

3

Cultural fests are held once a year.they are not very big like other places but okay.once we were asked to attend a conference outside college for which we had to pay and go. college doesn't spend anything since it is a government college. teaching okay okay. other activities okay okay.not great.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since ours is government college, fees are based on sc st general obc and other reservation category.which is actually not fair.only sc st people get reserved.what about us.we do well and dont get any credits.no scholarship no fee cancellaction.nothing for general students

Fees and Financial Aid

No I was not eligible for any scholarships because I was in general category. scholarship was given only for sc st category

Campus Life

2.5

Campus Life is okay.not that great.gender ratio.since ours is a women's college lot of partiality is shown to the puc students who studied there and joined graduation there.there is no unity.not much activities etc.even if there are activities our course students were not given permission to go.only academics.no debates.no robotics nothing.

Hostel Facilities

2

No, I did not opt for hostel. because staying outside is better than staying at the hostel.there was a case of some perverts entering college hostel.food is only rice and dal.no proper facilities.too much crowded.

Alumni/Alumna

Too much partiality shown by lecturers. Yes alumnis have told not to opt for that college because the lecturers show a lot of favour only to their students.outside students from other colleges who go there are left aside

Admission

I got admission through merit list.I chose this college it is the one which I knew. admission process is followed in Bangalore University. students are selected based on merit and cut off percentage and then sc/st/general etc.students have to go to Bangalore University for the counselling process and long waiting hours.alloted time was not followed.and no proper information on how to pay fees.

Faculty

2.5

There were 8 lecturers for our course.age average of 50.all have MSc and net.well they are experienced but some of them don't know how to teach.some just read what they have written and some ask students to make presentations.no lecturers dint hold Industry experience or certifications.only one lecturer was perfect in her teaching.but they transferred her.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Our particular course dint had any placement drives. But now, from this year they do have for M.Sc. DAN students too. I think its a good move. Other culinary department students had 100% placements as claimed by the University. After getting degree i am interested in pursuing my Ph.D.
