Course Curriculum Overview
BCA is a good course but we didn't have any industry visits as it is not needed here. Those visits only happen in masters course and doctoral programs. Though many conpanies did visit us for providing a good package even though it was simoly an undergrad program
Placement Experience
Though bca doesn't have any good placements, our college did have some good companies visit us like Oracle and TCS. They did offer a package of 4.5L per annum which had an agreement that the employee had to work there for 5 years. Besides this agreement, the package was quite good after bca
College Events
Our college is famous for its youth fest and cult fest. Many participants from different colleges come to participate in our events. Our college has the best organised events and no college can compete that. It's very famous for its extra curricular activites too
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is governed by gujarat university, the fees are quite low and feasible. Bca was 16K per sem which sums up to around 1L for 3 years of your undergrad program. The first sem is to be paid compulsarily by cash and the next sem fees can be paid online, cash or cheque
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does offer scholarships but I'm not quite aware about the amounts and criteria here. They do give around 6-8 scholarships per sem for one course
Campus Life
Gender ratio is around 70:30, 70 being male. We have some best cricket and football teams. We even have debates being held up sometimes and the college doesn't have any ragging as the administration is extremely strict in those matters. So nothing to worry about
Hostel Facilities
Our college does have a boys hostel. The fees there is around 11k per year. But I wouldn't recommend it as the hostel is quite average and the food is below average. You can get better rates at pgs nearby
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the seniors are very helpful and you will be needing their help in third year for the projects.
Admission
I was already intertested in IT and that's why i opt for this college. BCA is full of coding subjects and database subjects. You should opt for this only if you like database and coding. BCA is a course I'll prefer over bsc because it is a bit more updated.
Faculty
The faculty was good. It was quite helpful. In third year, we are assigned a proffessor to ask him about our project and get his or her help. The third year project is developing a working website or an application and the help is quite necessary which we did get
