Remarks

Every college have some of its pros and cons. and as every person I also had an amazing period at my college. So this college is a perfect mixture of education fun adventure etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum and exam structure was very well systematic and with maximum coverage. the sessions syllabus was well distributed for the complete tenure and maxmum and variety of subjects were covered which was very important and an important to mention here that in place of having assignments for internals all the law subjects would involve a moot court assignment which has helped students for personality as well as legal development, enhanced the court and its practical knowledge. Exam structure was semester wise which was divided into 60-40 ration which involved 60 for the externals or finals and 40 was internal which involved an internal exam and assigment/moot court.

Placement Experience

3

As my course was related to legal profession and field so basically courts visitation were made. internships were compulsory and the syllabus /curriculum included it as an important part. in the First year a month of internship in an NGO was important, in second year internship under an advocate in district court, in third year under an advocate in High court, in forth year under an advocate/ AOR in Supreme court and in the final year a compulsory three month internship under any of the heads of students choice including law firms, companies etc.

College Events

4

My college was a hub for celebrations. each and every event and festival was celebrated including independence day, republic day holi diwali shivratri, etc. we had a three day techno fest in month of September or October which included a no. of events and competition like fashion show dancing singing, games, etc. Inter departmental competitions were also held time to time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

A little expensive braked down in two installments to be paid before starting of each semester. online and demand drafts are accepted for depositing the fees. there is no additional fee charges to be paid to secure seats or admission to my course as far as I know because nor I paid neither any one I know.

Fees and Financial Aid

Although I did not apply for any educational loan or scholarship but there was scholarship as well as education loan system which was opted by different students and availed by them.

Campus Life

5

Taking about the gender ratios it was equal. there is one thing I want to mention is there were different types of students from all over the country and from other countries too. in my experience the chancellor has also helped students in financial conditions were weak. the campus life was enjoying and a little strict also as you cannot leave the campus before 3:30 and 75% attendance was important but in some sense it was beneficial. there were different extracurricular facilities and competition that were held time to time. different sports facilities, canteens, etc are there.

Alumni/Alumna

I may not be in a position to answer this question but there have been alumini meets and the seniors and students are in contact with the college.

Admission

Initial I was a science student till 12th and was inclined towards the medical field as well as legal proffession. I came up with my college through its advertisments on internet, television and in newspapers. In addition I have also appeared in CLAT (Common Law Aptitude Test). I went to visit the college. The most attracting and appreciating thing to this college were its infrastructure environment, etc.

Faculty

4

There were more that 20 lecturers and the basic qualification requirement for professors and lecturers was at least master decrees. Many were doctorate. there were different group of ages among them. These were experts in there own fields some were a prominent experts in academy and some had an experience of court litigation life also. Courts were also visited and the lecturers also tried to teach with different presentation and projects levels.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Thr curriculum is designed in a way as a usual law college but the benefit of this college is that we have legal aid clinic , which the students have the opportunity to join. In curriculum we also have variety of electives till 4th yearof college. Which i think is good as students might get the opportunity to explore other subjects related to law and not related to law. The exams are held twice a semester and the difficulty level depends upon the faculty setting the question paper. Usually the difficulty level is of othe law universities. For improvement wise i dont have any suggestions

Placements from the campus for law students is not that good and honestly I don't think the student should rely on the campus placements instead they can participate in different events and improve their CV for getting a good job . The internships play a vital role in the career of a law students . Law students mainly focus on the judiciary exams and if not that then they can go for the corporate sector or litigation after that . Else they can also prepare for other exams such as UPSC or also go for higher education
