Remarks

Due to lesser amount of fees and it is a government college of Bihar state government,it is new college and it's faculty members are very good in nature they are always supportive,I opted for civil engineering because I like this type of courses which includes environment roads, Bridges,dams, barrage, building,etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus was completed on time and revisions are carried out timely by the faculty members.Yes we were sent for industrial visit at the end of every semester before the exams.Prof Vikash Kumar was very good faculty,he is very supportive in nature

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Yes I have opted for Thiels Foundation stipend by thiel organization

Placement Experience

Ultratech Cement,DRDO visited my college and offered placements for 3rd and 4th year students,only 2 or 3 students got placed in Ultratech and 1 student in DRDO.Placement is not good in my college, placement process is call in interview.Not good alumni networking for job referrals

College Events

Yes they conducts some cultural functions like bihu dance etc. There is also quiz competition conducted every year. I am glad to say that students get participated in them. Some great people are also invited in our college to give speech of how to live life what are its impacts.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides scholarship for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates and Bihar government provides loans for all students pursuing technical education in the form of Student Credit Card upto 4 lakhs

Campus Life

There are badminton courts and volleyball courts here indoor games as well as outdoor games facilities are present,wi-fi is also present here with good network connectivity,library is quite spacious and provides all kinds of books,our college have all kinds of labs

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are quite good large and spacious it's sharing hostels seats are few.PG's average rental charge is 2500 per month.To avail hostel facility one must came to earliest for hostel accommodation because it is based on first come first serve basis

NIT Patna Review.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like texas instruments,samsung, accenture,Amazon,keysight technologies,Deloitte.L&T, bosch,tech Mahindra and many more. Highest package for batch 2024-25 was 41LPA offered to cse student.avg package is of 10LPA. Percentage of students placed here is almost 85 percent. Look for a job after getting the degree.

The course curriculum is quite good and the faculty are super knowledgeable and they help their students a lot. The teaching methods of faculty are quite easy to understand. As an Engineering course, it has a lot of syllabus and difficulty but the way of teaching is so good that we find it very easy to understand the concept. I have choosen this course as I wanted to start my own business in the construction field and am not oriented to placement. The exam of college is conducted by Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna. The exam is conducted twice a year i.e. once in a semester. There are also internal exam and internal assessment that is conducted by the college only. The level of questions is moderate but the option available to choose the question from 9 to solve any 5 makes the paper quote smooth and easy. There are two way to take admission in GEC Siwan fir engineering one of them by qualify JEE exam and another one is by qualify bcece entrance exam. For finding the application form, application fee, and application dates you have to go to the bcece official website where you got everything about Bihar engineering. If you want to take admission in Bihar engineering after diploma or graduation then you can apply for bcece le(lateral entry). It is save your 1 year and you can complete your b-tech in just 3 years. There are three subjects in entrance exam in bcece le that is:_ English, Mechanics and Mathematics. Where English is only for qualified the examination and Mechanics, mathematics for higher rank.
