Student's Review On Teerthanker Mahaveer University - [TMU], Moradabad

We are living in the technology driven era and having a bachelor degree in computer sciences, I wanted to enhance my knowledge in the field and this became the reason for choosing the Masters of Computer Applications course

As the technology changes day by day, TMU also tries to update the course syllabus every year. Only minus thing is that old students have to continue the old syllabus only, no update for them. As far as industrial exposure is concerned, not much is focused on this aspect. All faculties have a good knowledge but the thing is what your class and especially you wants to fetch from them.

I did internship at National Informatics centre, New Delhi Head Quaters.

Opportunities are there but you must become capable to grab them. Many companis come and go but fail to fetch the talent from the organisation. Training and Placement cell is doing quite good since last couple of years to bring in the companies for the placement.

Campus life is amazing. Campus has everything that you would look for. From the basic necessities shops such as milk shops to stationary ones, all are available. Gym is also there(paid membership). Now as far as the cultural events are concerned, University hosts its mega event in 3-4 years where it invites popular singers. Colleges have there own festivals celebration patterns and they celebrate each one of them with lots of joy.

University have special scholarship for Jain students, being Jain student, I got 50% off on my hostel and tution fees. In addition to this university offers special scholarship for the scholors such as those you get 90%+ score in their 12th.

Campus infrastructure is more appealing. For sports, there is a cricket ground along with football ground and indoor stadium. Libraries are open during college hours with all the books you may require for your course along with the journals. Campus is connected to high speed wifi which is available at almost every part of the campus. Labs are well equipped. Highly configured computers with latest tools installed are available.

Hostels rooms are well equipped with a bed, fans, coolers, tubelights, racks, cupboard, geezers, chairs and more importantly a LAN cable connected to the high speed internet. Hostel have plenty of rooms and are easily available. Along with this, hostel have four time meal facility, study room facility and much more.
