Student's Review On DY Patil College Of Engineering And Technology - [DYPCET], Kolhapur

I chose this college because the college surroundings getting better and mainly it's in my locality. College has good accreditations and I opted B.E. civil because I'm into design and planning in civil.

Course syllabus is totally updated. No we're not provided to enough industrial exposure. Some facilities are way too good with great experience but some are with high knowledge and no teaching skills.

Placement and job opportunities are getting better day by day in our college with newly recruited training and placement officer. We get placement training before and campus placements. Placement department is working hard for getting good companies and it has well connected alumni network. There is no any entrepreneur cell in our college.

There are technical events as well as cult events available but student + faculty approach to these is quite disappointing. Events mostly held in second semester and of 4-5 days. The arrangements of events are dependent on that year's student council so the enjoyment and creativity of events also depends on council.

Infrastructure is comapcted but way good. Wifi, sports, lab equipments are available. Sports ground is unavailable near campus. All types of equipment is there for experiment but some are old enough and not in use. Size of library is very small compared to other college's library. Free Wifi speed is too good though.

Hostel is not near campus. Most of the students live in PGs having good facilities. Also there's availability of bunch of food mess with great service. PG rentals are about 1200 to 2000 per month. And food costs around 1700 to2000 per month.
