Anonymous's Review On Villa Marie College For Women, Hyderabad

Late admission and this college had seats. I didn't have any good option, either this college or drop out for a year and unless you are a science student and want to write exams for NDA/IIT or anything its not useful to drop out. Although i had another plan for getting into specialisation which was offered by Villa Marie College as B.com (International sales promotion, advertising and marketing) and many other vocational educations, but advertising was the one I opted for. And apart from that college have great canteen area with lots of varieties. Being from an army background and studying as a CBSE student in many of reputed Army Public Schools, always had a dream of getting into a great so called big named colleges and even had opportunities and marks but afterall belonged to an indian conservative family who didn't allow me staying in Delhi alone, so came to Hyderabad choose the only college left and took CS as a professional course.

The course i choose from many i a was provided by college is B.COM(international sales promotion, marketing and advertising): It was a great journey with all those projects, research works and advertising related assignments. College gave us all the opportunities to outshine ourself in that field even made us do an internship based on research, data analysis and interpretation in marketing area which was amazing for me. Through all this college journeys our faculties supported us, sometime forced us but all for our alone benefits.

Amazon.Inc, Deloitte consulting LLP, Telebu, Tech Mahindra BPO limited, Cognizant technology solutions, Whacked out media, HDFC bank, Manya Education Pvt LTD, Ryson Jewels, Genpact these are some company came for placement drive in our college. The company's were professional and college represented in its best form by supporting their students and making sure everyone gets a fair and square chance.

Every semester was loaded with college fests of different departments perfomed to prove them best from other colleges as well as other department inside the college. Even inside B.com we had different events for computers, foreign trade and advertising students. My best experience was when me and my friends put up a food stall and came out with lots of profit and fun.

The infrastructure is great, open and fresh surrounded by trees. Although I felt that college close gate system was totally based on school life and they should have let us grow with not limiting us and then compare our graduates from those who live every aspects of there life by making their own decisions, cause after all for us it was college or our parents who decided everything. But apart from close gate system college has great faculties, library and canteen area plus good sports opportunities for those who are interested, we always had inter college tournaments. I was more of a seminar kind of girl, loved participating in french competition, conducting seminar and once even joined a cross cultural event with spanish students.
