Remarks

First of all SICSR is ranked number 1 for the BCA Programme. I wanted to explore and live a hostel/campus life which is really overwhelming to be honest. From my childhood I was fascinated with the tech-world and determined to enter into an IT world, aspiring to become a tech-enthusiast. I love technology because it’s the triumph of the human intellect. It just felt that SICSR would be the best college for me and taking admission into SICSR is one of the best decisions of my life.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is up-to-date. All the faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable and almost all of them are PhD scholars. Teaching quality is good and fun-learning. Companies for placements come to the college for final year students.

Class Size: 46Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Placement Experience

I don't have exact idea about placements. But many companies come at the final year for placements. I've just heard about Deloitte, Cognizant to coming to our college for placements. There were more companies but I cannot say as such.

College Events

Various events are organized at a regular interval, which provides a good exposure for the students. Different clubs are there in our college which organizes events. Cultural fests and other activities are conducted for the welfare of the students.

Campus Life

SICSR is a building with 7 floors out of which 4 floors belongs to SICSR and other two for SIG. Many students complain that the campus is small and not a huge campus like any other Symbiosis campuses. But it is fine. Classes are equipped with audio and visual facilities (projectors). Wi-Fi and library facilities are also available. There's also a canteen (SymbiEat) at all Symbiosis campuses

Hostel Facilities

I stay at Symbiosis Vishwabhavan (Boys Hostel), which is at a different Symbiosis campus from my college. Approximate distance between the college and hostel is 1.5kms. Infrastructure of the hostel is good and its a beautiful campus. The room provided is on a sharing basis, 3 in one room or 2 as per your choice (fees may vary).

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience:

No in my college there was a placement and it was a very good placement if you are from bca or b.tech you can get the placement but in the placement the interviewer check your report card and attendance and what are the skills you have then you can get placement but if you don't have this then you cannot get placement which you want

Placement Experience:

After the sixth sem, we are eligible for campus placement. Companies like IBM, Infosys, Deloitte, amazon, and Facebook visit our campus to provide good offers highest package was 29 lac and the average package was 7 lac. The percentage of students getting placement is 99% my plan after getting the degree will be I wanted to pursue my master and partially I wanted to do my job.

Positions Allocated

So the eligibility for applying to BCA was 50 percentage marks in class 12th. After fulfilment of this criteria you have to appear in Symbiosis Entrance Test ( SET ) which includes knowledge about 4 field : logical reasoning, Aptitude, English, General knowledge. Once you clear the SET, you'll have to appear for Personal Interview session where college filters applicants on huge scale. All these details are available on college site as well ( sicsr.ac.in ).
