This is one of the best mining engineering colleges in this state and the fee is also slightly less when compared to mining engineering colleges in other states, This is an autonomous institution and possess GAS TESTING chamber which is very important to a mining engineer to get a supervisory jobs in underground mines.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mining engineering is an extraordinary course, if I talk about the curriculum it is very old and not updated, as it is an autonomous college no one cares about our curriculum. The faculty teaching and guidance is average but the management is not good. They don't takes interest on my department but are very well interested in collecting college fees and condonation.
Placement Experience
0% since many years we (mining engineers) are not getting any placements. So this is a worst issue in this institution. We are very affraid of our future, we don't even get an apprantice after completion of my degree
College Events
The extra curricular activities are good but the management will inform to only few students and departments,suppose there is a seminar on some mechanical related subjects they will also gather other branch students just to fill the seats in seminar hall to impress guests.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the campus outlook is very good but the machines in the laboratory are not working properly and there are very few machines, library is good. Lab equipment is not sufficient and are not working properly
