It was among first undergraduate colleges to offer Business Analytics Specialisation. Also, I had the option to go for general BBA in 1st year and choose a specialisation in 2nd year, unlike UPES DEHRADUN where we need to choose a specialisation in 1st year. Being a science student I needed yo study general BBA first so that I could decide my specialisation later so, I chose SCMS. Also, SCMS Noida is no different from Pune one because the curriculum is the same and the degree awarding University is the same. The degree doesn't mention the college. It mentions the university. Also if SCMS PUNE is 14 years old then SCMS NOIDA is 10 years old. Except that it was an added advantage to choose SCMS NOIDA because the industrial environment is fresh there and full of opportunities. Also, it's at a stone's throw from Delhi. So, we can explore the cities and become a wiser person (required that we take time and interest to do so). Additionally, Noida is 3 hours away from my hometown which makes it easy to go home on weekends. The most beneficial thing I liked about SCMS Noida is the diversity of students & their facade that is very outgoing and respectful, professionalism in curriculum and excellent personality professors, work oriented growth (you actually need to work in extracurriculars to get recognition and there are ample opportunities that increase in no. every year as the Institute gets older) Most amazing thing which is more important than education is that people here are open-minded to extremes. No professor or student judges you here. Professors are very approachable and cool and witty. Open minded people around you is what pushes you to grow because they don't hold you down by judging you. I can't stress this enough because I have seen what it is like to be coming from a small town full of old thinking and limited knowledge where even a 12th class student doesn't speak good English, let alone his personality development will happen. I have become 80% better only in this 20% time of my life that is college life.

The curriculum is just very good. You can see it's rating. It is updated every year I guess. Maybe earlier or later but yes it gets continuously updated. Academics of BBA is no tough job if someone is joining the course willingly and not just for the sake of a degree and every subject is precisely chosen in each semester to give you a personality boost in every term. Be it Business Communication for personality development or be it Financial Analytics to give you an analytical edge. The required attendance is 75% here so, you can't be a bad student. As I said earlier the faculties are very friendly and approachable and are the best when it comes to mentorship. Even in lockdown, they have been immensely helpful. Campus life is what makes a college a place you remember for life. And it's alumni always miss their college life very baldy so it's evident how vibrant college life it is here. The year is full of cultural events and activities. Oh my, I'm getting emotional remembering those times because I'm stuck in COVID lockdown now. There are 5 main events in the whole year (you can find their details from the website of SCMS) And then there js the flagship event in February. The fest SYAMROH, where people like Bashah perform every year. It's the one thing no one should miss. There is a club for everything you can imagine. Be it for art, digital art, photography, dance, music or acting. Except that we have placement cells, corporate interface cell, debating society, etcetera. It's undoubtedly the best in class. The building was newly built with a new design and completed in 2018 thus, equipped with the latest tools and equipment. From washrooms to libraries everything is equipped with tools that you will find in a Mall. Needless to elaborate on that. Every classroom and office is air conditioned with curtains and has wifi and projector and huge glass windows that make it beautiful to be seated there. There is a basketball, badminton and Cricket court, large enough library that is a blessing to go into it's the most silent place ilon campus. You either just go there to relax in peace or to do your own work you are free. Students go there to read newspapers, refer to books for their research projects, and to read the college magazines and fictions. There are two computer labs having around 170 computers in total with a projector and a whiteboard of course. Besides our campus, there is a Business Park where there are large corporate firms and every Symbian goes there to chill in their restaurant area where you can find brands like Subway, Mc.D, and Grillin. Within our campus, there is a Nestle's canteen that serves everything from coffee & burgers to meals. And it's a famous location because it's just in front of the girl's hostel. Haha. By the way, that area is also famous for taking pictures because it has a beautiful infrastructure with vines of flowers going up on the pathway from where the sunset is visible. Except for all the committees and departments I want to highlight 3 things. One is the SCEW office where you are free to talk to a psychologist to share any type of stress or depression. My life changed the day I went there with my anxieties to share and seek help. Second is the Health dept. where you will find a permanent doctor and his assistants. Then are the GYM and YOGA centre with high-tech equipments for gymming and a beautiful open balcony for Yoga.

There are only girls hostel as of now within the campus. But that's not a problem. Also, it is more fun to see boys visiting a college in the evening for their girlfriends. There are apartments just opposite our college. So, most students live in flats and PG's nearby which is a much required experience if you want to become a person who is tough for life to come. The boys hostel is under construction.
