Remarks

I choose this university because it's an renowned and popular university situated in the heart of Bhubaneswar the smart City. The green trees and state of art infrastructure attracted me alot and it's placement is also decent too. So my relative advice me to take this opportunity and make the most out of it.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course where I was in BBA and it is I can say very industry oriented like guest lecturer, interaction with industry experts and most of our faculty teach MBA students too so they are having either PhD degree or masters which is a plus point but the fees is on a higher side as it's in deed an expensive college.

Placement Experience

College placement cell work really Hard to make most of their students placed but last year many call centre job came so students denied to go for that job but in summer they were given good foreign internship with MBA batches.

College Events

Many cultural, sports and dance also tech and management clubs are divided among siniors and they are the promotors for these events on regular basis.campus life is cool but most of the students are from Odisha state only so you may feel some concerned.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

No loan I have taken but many national and State level scholarship scheme present for meritorious student for help them in their annual academic fees. The faculty also help students to grow up as a person and profession.

Campus Life

It's tall buildings, complete air conditioning, historical infrastructure fully wifi enabled campus as they have tied up with jio to provide 1mb per second speed. It has a big cricket cum football ground with flood light for night games. Swimming pool for MBA students. Badminton and tennis court and also indoor games facility present in campus.

Hostel Facilities

No I live with my partner in a Paying guest.the hostel is inside the campus and many of my friends are happy with the mess food and the lawn and everything.clean and hygienic food and nice hospitality too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is so good but little bit hard for those people who are not studying . The course having 6 semester in 3 years . Mid semester 30 marks end semester 40 marks . In total u have to get 40 marks marks to pass .

Placement Experience:

Personally I don't know much things about our placement support committee. But if you will work on you making busy yourself for developing practical skills rather than only academic books , you can get a good placement not only on campus, infact it will better for you to go for off-campus.but I think the college provides placement to MBAs and also BBA student included there .

Life at BGU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is not that good but not that bad also. It is a normal course just like any other under graduation course. The faculty is very good in some fields but lacking in some fields due to the environment. The exams they take are really good and always on time. The teachers are helpful.

Many companies are visited to our college such as Tech Mahindra, Genpact,Tata Power,Concentric etc. Many USA based companies are required students from our college to doing work from home. Tech Mahindra is the mass recruiter of our college. Highest package is 2.5LPA and the lowest package is 1LPA. This year 90% got placement in tech Mahindra,tata power,griefeo,pro ace and bloom brain. I was selected for tech Mahindra for BPO but I want to pursue for MBA after getting the degree. Which MBA will helps to enhance my skills and knowledge to getting better placement offers.

Life at BGU

After scoring 86 percentile in MAT, I applied to various colleges one of them being Birla Global University. Eligibility criteria don't count here. they will call you and take all the details and ask for registration and after registration, they will charge around Rs.1500 as registration fees. All the application forms and dates are available on their websites as well as they will mail you if interested. They will schedule a GD/PI round. As I had applied before Covid, fortunately, got a chance to visit the campus and around 100 students were present over there. First-round was about filling out applications and writing a few lines about a given topic. Within a stipulated time, you have to write on the topic. The next round was GD. 2 Sets of students were divided and we need to discuss the given topic. The final round was PI. They will focus on why MBA? what are the subjects you like? and why BGU. Within a week or two they will call and declare the results. The admission process was smooth....Read More
