Remarks

College management was bad and their maintenance is very poor. Both hostel and college experience too bad for what we pay for. but fun and friends only the hope that time.

Entrance Preview

TN entrance exam and score 55 and there was no specific reason to choose my college. I choosed CS department and it was available. Thats all.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Computer science department and all basic computers and programming languages with maths and basic science. Electives were hardware and software programming.

Internships Opportunities

Only one call center company has come and selected in single digit and they were also not offered. This was just eye wash. Nobody got offered finally.

College Events

1

Apart from technical, cultural and festivals were great and celebrated in big way. It was really fun and enjoyable. Every year it was big event and including sports and final day is awesome.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was expensive during that time and not remembering the complete fee structure and it was around 60K and hostel and food extra. Exam and other fees also inclusive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan was not offered from colleage and it was my own effort and took it from bank. Scholar ship provided to few students.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life was fun and technically it was not great. Labs and sports like activities ok kind of and not too good. Facilities are no so good and all were average.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel was not that great and hostel life was good and real fun. It didnt have much facilities but with friends all went well. it is sharing only. Mess food was average.

Alumni/Alumna

We were second batch so our network was too small and senior interaction was good and fine. After come out we created alumini and it is running fine hopefully.

Exam Structure

It was hectic and it was never easy to write exams and labs. There were few exams was good and most of them tough though.

Faculty

2.5

Faculty was average and visiting faculty was good for sometime. Over all is average standard. It was good for beginning time and not at the final year stage.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Placement Experience:

Chennai Institute of Technology is an instituition that truly prioritizes student career growth . The placement cell is exceptionallu well-organized ,consistently connecting students with reputed companies across various industries. What makes CIT stood out is the quality of its training staff. They focus heavily on communication , technical knowledge and competitive preparation ,align students with what top companies expect ,and contiuosly push us to improve and meet industry standards. Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence. The department faculty are equally commnedable ,knowledgable ,approachable and genuinely invested in student career. Overall CIT is an excellent choice for anyone focused on building a strong and sucessful career
