Management has to improve hostel facility to be improve.

Entrance Preview

No entrance exam held for my batch of 2008 I was joined through counselling from anna University by base of my 12 th mark I am nearyby theni district so i am selected odaiyappa college of engineering and technology.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have joined BE in electrical and electronics engineering stream and the batch 2008 and i passed out on 2012 elective papers are machine design, operation Research, Environmental Studies.

Internships Opportunities

We have gone for inplant trianing in door dharsan on 2009 and inplant trianing in fenner on 2011 and atlast we have internship in TVs rubber parts and got stippenend of Rs 4000/month.

Placement Experience

No placements held from my batch because they didnt offer any companies for placement. They gave training for placement oriented but we got job by own we have attend off capmus in LMEC.

College Events

Events and co ordiantions are most lovely in my college because they celebrate all types of festives like onam, dhasara, technical, symposium, college cultural, sports day, hostel day, pongal festival etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is high because the facility is not good lab good facility is not good and hostel facility also bad.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities is good some of them are reactive and proactive but i am adjustable.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are not good and the floor is not furnished food is very tastey and good no drinking water water scarcity id high.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

Some of the exams are went smooth some of the exams are climaitically very chilled and uncomfort to write exams and prepare for exams.

Faculty

Faculty of the college was not bad some of them are well teached and some of them are not good. they moving the students by partiality some of them are superb and we gathered good knowledge.

My College Experience

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem onwards students are eligible to attend the placement drives. companies like Amazon , tcs , Accenture, cognizant, sonacomstar, nissiki, valeo, Cap Gemini visit the campus. The highest package offered was 41LPA by Amazon and average package was 4LPA.

EDUCATION WITH SATHYABAMA

Placement Experience:

There is many opportunities given by the collage placement they give training. For placenta and they have some fees structure for placement and that I have paid 2 times 12500 for placement training there are no of opportunities and many companies give good offers for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good...but it is better to have present skills to be learnt ...it is all university fixed curriculum that cannot be changed otherwise all were good to know about basics and good sib knowledge

Aspects Of College

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are very good. The studentrs are given oppertuties and are given chances for comapnies such as amazon, Wipro, JP morgan and such that have a great CTC and a large number of other companies including startups are also available. If the student is interested in entrepernership then the startup cell funds for the ideas of students. There is a seperate higher studies cell for students who want to pursue their higher studies and are given guidance to what steps are to be taken by educational fairs and such

Average College Experience at Sathyabama

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college is good. Average salary package is 5LPA. Companies like Amazon, JPmorgan, Virtusa, Accenture, HCL, Valeo, TCS and other major companies hire many students here. I heard more than 90% students were placed.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements in our college usually start from 6th semester. Students are regulary trained for placements from the 1st year both in aptitude and coding skills. Certain branch students receive training specifiically in their own field Most of the students get placed in IT-service based companies like TCS,CTS,Infosys and Accenture. In recent years students have got placed for Marquee offers in big prodcut based comapnies like Autodesk, Amazon, MIcrosoft and Goldman Sachs.

Not a topper but a good learner

Placement Experience:

In my department, placement will provide in the final year. In pre final year they provide internship training to the students. Nearly 10 to 15 companies gives placement in the core sector. It's packages are 25k average. For non core like IT, minimum of 20 to 40 companies will visit to the campus for placement. It's average package will be 35 to 45k.

Placement Experience:

About the placement of colleges there are many compromise to visit to college respect of different departments and the placement start as well as internships when they student enter final year. Percentage of the student getting placement where is from department to department but maximum student gets placed at the end of the year.
